Meals at Four Seasons

Has anyone eaten over at LaHiki at Four Seasons while at Aulani? We have Thanksgiving reserved for the ballroom at Aulani but with my 10 year old being charged for an adult meal (when he'll likely eat a couple rolls and some mac and cheese), its super expensive and surprisingly Four Seasons is cheaper. I've also heard that they have a great brunch. We will likely do 1 character meal while there but we've done plenty at WDW so we don't feel the need to do anything more than that and I'm not sure if $400 on Thanksgiving Dinner is really what I want to spend when it could go towards something super fun.
Any thoughts or opinions on this welcome!

Ate there once during happy hour. Very good food. I found Aulani's restaurants overpriced, and frankly not as good as Monkeypod across the street. I'd spend $400 elsewhere.

I do not think four seasons will be a lot cheaper. I had a great meal in Paris at the George V but cheap it was not! Not been to Hawaii but four seasons is expensive.

Oh my goodness, that is some expensive stuffing! I would skip it and have a traditional meal before you go or when you get back at home. I could be a fun way to get you in the holiday mood if you did a turkey breast roast and a little bit of the sides a few days before you leave.

I would go to Roys. We went once on Christmas in Maui and they had added some traditional touches to their menu. I dont know if they do it for Thanksgiving or if the Ko Olina location does either holiday.

Great suggestion! We love Roy's and eat there often here at home and while on Maui trips especially. Have not yet tried the Ko Olina location, but no doubt they are very good as well. :cutie:

Surprisingly Four Seasons Thanksgiving is around $180 cheaper for a family of 4! The big difference being that my 10 year old is charged for a kids meal and not as an adult ($35 vs $89.50). I keep flip flopping between wanting a nice holiday dinner with the family and just kind of skipping and grabbing something casual. Roy's didn't have their menu up yet but I was planning on looking there as well. I didn't think the kids would care about missing the traditional Thanksgiving dinner as they are super picky and 1 doesn't even eat Turkey!

Roy's may not be what I would call super "traditional" for Thanksgiving but no doubt will have some of the usual offerings if they follow suit with our Roy's here in FL. And their pricing is usually pretty good for holidays.

My daughter and I ate at their Sunday brunch a couple of months ago and it was the best meal of the trip. I would totally recommend it. When my kids were growing up I always fed them a huge variety of foods and so they eat pretty much everything so she definitely ate her money's worth. Either feed your son before and not have him eat if they let you, put him in the kids club and enjoy the meal without him, or just suck it up and pay for him and put it down to vacation money spent.

I would also recommend Roys if you dont want to drive. If you have a car and are willing to drive about 10 minutes there is Plantation House 1849 which is a more casual concept kitchen of Roys. Or maybe spend that $400 for luau tickets at Paradise Cove. That would make for a very memorable Thanksgiving dinner.
