Are Little Mermaid rooms ever eligible for any discounts?

I’ve looked at AP, Disney Visa, and Bounceback discounts and all seem to exclude the Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation. Do those rooms ever get any kind of discounts?

We’re staying on my DVC points at OKW in July of 2019 and thought it would be fun to stay at Art of Animation for my March 2020 Spring Break.

Thanks!

Would it be fun...yes :)

Will it be discounted in a LM room...no :(

I've never seen them include LM rooms in any discount. If discount is what's important to you, I'd consider staying at Pop and you can still walk across the bridge and see AoA. OR if discount is super important then you'll want to consider All Stars as they are always the least expensive.

I got an AP discount on a LM room for my Sept 4-10 trip this year. Appeared online with all the other discounts. I was surprised, since I had heard that they’re never discounted.

Thank you for your replies. A discount would be nice, but we’d stay there even without one... which is probably why there are so rarely discounts for those particular rooms. :flower1:

I've always wanted them to discount those rooms! Sadly, Disney never discounts the LM rooms. AoA is meant to be a resort for larger families, however, they have those rooms for smaller families that would want to stay and AoA as well but not spend the money on a family suite (and because they were left over from legendary years). The problem is, there aren't as many standard sized rooms, so it would kinda make sense for them to not discount those rooms since they're kind of exclusive.

No and it makes no sense at this point. It did when the resort was new but now, it's not. And those rooms are the furthest walk. I find it so hard to believe folks keep going back to them, at full price, when they learn how bad the walk is. Maybe everyone that returns drives?

I sort of scoffed at the walk, until I stayed there and was exhausted from the parks. It was pretty far. I’m still glad I tried it, but I don’t think I’ll be back soon.
