I heard “Fastpass, Now What is that?”

That’s not really a good attitude to have before the trip even starts. I could see being frustrated but to already decide you won’t go back again before even going? Or was she saying that because it’s so expensive?
It wasn't because she knew, in advance that she wasn't going to like it, it was because the expense made it so that they felt it was one and done. I think many people go there thinking that. I know I did and it wasn't until I went the first time did I feel that it was the place for me and my 45 visits there since my first experience came only after I knew what it all was. Never occurred to me as we were going the first time that there would be any reason to ever go again. At the time it was a 1500 mile drive and with 4 of us I couldn't afford airfare, so yes it was to be a one and done for me as well.

Ahhh okay. That’s why I asked about the cost. We don’t have kids yet and I already think it’s such a costly thing to do so I understand. We went for our honeymoon and Dh was not thrilled at all about going to Disney. We’ve been back 4 times in the last two years which is a lot for us since we have to fly each time.

Yep, I remember my one and done trip 11 years ago. One day at MK. We had no idea what we were doing other than I had read enough to know the best day of the week to go and we were the first car in the parking lot. We also knew enough to go left. Our first ride ever was the Magic Carpets. (It is now our first ride every trip on arrival day) I had researched but did not know about the fastpasses people were using. We've been 15 times since and are now annual pass holders. Next week is our 4th trip in a year. That first trip hooked me and my daughter and we find ways to keep it affordable.
