Interesting (clean) names

I work with a woman named Monastasia Sparkle Lastname. She goes by Sparkle.
 
When I was in high school in the late '50's there was a guy in a small town near my hometown named Bud Wiser. A man younger than me(who isn't) is named Country Music. This is his real legal name. He lived in the Middletown, IN area.

Along those same lines, my husband used to work with a gentleman named D*ck. His last name was Lycker. Who.on.earth. thought that was a good idea.

I also went to school with a young man named Bruce Batman.
 
I remember a Letterman bit where he had people with weird names on. Stuff like "Ima Duck". I can't find a video, which kind of surprises me.
 
Ima Hogg, daughter of a Texas governor. Lived in Houston. Was wealthy and well known. BIL had a friend in school named Merry Christmas. Had a friend name Dusk, who had two sisters named Dawn and Twilight.

Some parents start out totally brainless.

I worked in forensic toxicology, so the names we saw were legal names from driver’s licenses. Candy Corn came through more than once.

I also went to school with a Candida, like the yeast that causes a yeast infection. She went by Candy.

I also went to school with twins, Mary and Larry Perry.
 
Sandy Bottoms stayed with my family for State Choir when my school hosted it back in the 70s. I competed in a pageant with Raine Cloud. She had a twin brother named Storm.
 
My husband knew of a guy once whose name was Richard Lick. But he went by a common nickname for Richard that starts with the letter D.

I worked with a guy whose last name is Kelly. His wife’s first name is Kelly, so she goes by Kelly Kelly. If I were her, I would’ve kept my maiden name. :bitelip:

I have a friend named Taffela. We jokingly call her Taffeta. Her parents made up the name so they could use the nickname Taffy. She hates it. When she tells anyone her name is Taffy, she is constantly mistaken for Kathy.
 
A long time ago when I was in high-school, I had a friend that had a very unconventional home life even for the 70's... One dad and 5 or 6 mom's... there was about at least 15 kids, they all lived in this huge old house, in a rural area... She and all of her brothers and sisters where named after stars, planets, moons and solar systems. She went by Connie, for Constellation - she had twin brothers named Orion and Titan, Sisters named - Rhea, Venus, Moon, Lyra, they were a year or so older than we were. Connie, and I were partners with 2 other classmates on a project, and we were suppose to give our presentation in history class, and she did not show up she was finishing the written part... so after school we went to the house, and it was empty... Everything and Everyone was just gone... so the next day we went to the teacher, then the school got involved, then the police... to this day I still don't know what happened to her...

I don't how she convinced her folks to move to get out of a school project...lol.
 
We have a local politician named D*ck Swett. I always get a chuckle during campaign season and see the big signs all over asking people to re-elect D*ck Swett.
 
My daughter was friends with a girl who had 3 sisters. The girls were named Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. I always felt badly for poor Spring!
