Has anyone done this before? Wondering how much it costs and would I take one uber there and get another on the way back or go through the drive through. Sorry these are probably silly questions but I have never taken a Uber before. Thanks!!

The In-n-Out drive through line can be long; 20/30 minutes long.

I second the advice to get dropped off and eat there then get another ride back.

Just did this at the end of November! There is an Uber/Lyft pick up area when you are coming out of the parks toward Harbor. You don't cross the street - it is on your right. You can find it on a map as a Pick-up Drop Off location.

We went to the In N Out straight up north on Harbor because we had been to that one many times before.

HOWEVER - I would go to the one at https://locations.in-n-out.com/300-Anaheim because it is closer.
Our driver got confused with the address to the one on Harbor, so I had to direct him. Should have done the one on State College.

We rode there, ate inside and requested a new ride back. Best way as others have mentioned. Super easy!

If you've never been to in-n-out before I suggest getting their fries "well done." This will result in a crispier fry and they are so much better that way.

Ate at one of these locations in Los Angeles whilst there in October on holiday from the UK. Must admit, In-n-Out is one of the best burger restaurants there is out there. Fries and overall meal is not too salty, particularly when compared to Burger King and McDonalds here in the UK. The only other burger restaurant that has served meals as decent as In-n-Out do is the Hesburger chain in Helsinki, Finland.

Also, since it's your first time (and btw ParkHopper is absolutely correct about the fries getting bad quick), I strongly suggest getting the burger animal style which entails extra sauce, grilled onions and MOST IMPORTANTLY the mustard fry. If you don't want the additional calories, at least ask for the mustard fry (it's what makes the flavor really stand out and what separates InO from other fast food burgers). Also, I suggest adding chopped chiles if you like it spicy.

I need to try this - I love their burgers but not a fan of their fries.

There is a Walmart supermarket behind the In'N'Out on State College. You could grab a few groceries to take back to the hotel before getting your return Uber/Lyft ride.

Not a jab at those who love In'N'Out, but I simply don't get the appeal. I mean, yeah, it's a lot better than McDonald's but a special Uber trip for it? It's not that good IMO. I have one a couple of miles from my house and rarely go there because I think there are much better options, honestly.

I'm the same but I know we're in the minority. I live in LA so there are a lot of them and I will only go if people who are visiting want to go there. The burgers are good but so messy but the fries are gross to me (even well done) and the fries are supposed to be the best part.

YES. This. My brother-in-law turned me on to well-done fries. I think it's a California thing. It's great!

Also burger "Animal Style or just "Mustard Grilled" (Animal Style has a bit too much "spread" for me). Fries can be Animal Style too/

I think that is fries animal style or, if you don't want all the extra animal style fixings, just the fries grilled with mustard to intensify the flavor.
