Best 1 bedroom DVC?

Just to add - BCV, BRV, BWV and SSR essentially are all the same - just different themes. They all have a single bathroom to share but it is split with a tub and sink in the bedroom area and a shower/sink/toilet in a second section. OKW is quite large - also one bathroom that the bedroom and living area share. Kidani and BLT both have a second full bathroom in the living area. Jambo is unique in that the bedroom does not have any tub or sink within it. It has a single bathroom shared between the bedroom and living area but it is accessed from a hallway so if you have anyone using the sleeper sofa or sleeper chair in the living area they do not have to disturb the master bedroom occupants at all. VGF also shares a bathroom - it is split and people in the living area do not have to disturb those in the master.

Davids Vacation Club rentals has some nice video tours of all the resort rooms: https://www.dvcrequest.com/dvc-resort-tours.asp

The one bedroom at the Grand Californian is large. There's a second bathroom so if you have guests staying in the living room they have their own bathroom. There's also a fold out bed and a Murphy bed so three people can sleep in the living room. We like staying on the ground floor so you don't have to wait for the elevator, you just walk straight into your room. Also, the ground floor rooms have a patio which is larger than the balconies on the upper floors.

BLT is pretty high on the list as I think it has the best kitchen with an island where two more guests can eat (even numbered rooms only) in addition to the dining table with the extra wide living room. Even with the pullout couch and chair open there is still lots of floor space in the living room at BLT. Of course, that is why the BLT studios are so small as all that space was given to the 1BRs.

BLT or Kidani, I believe these are the only ones with two toilets. VGF is awesome, however one toilet in same room as shower.

After staying in a 1BR at BLT I can't see how I can stay in any other 1BRs.. BUT my absolute favourite is a 1BR Value at Jambo: the less points it costs for us the more we can stay and we think the size is great for our family of 4. :)

For size as stated OKW, BLT, Kidani.

Also these sleep more in comfort with the sleeper chair.

For value and overall experience for points- Boardwalk Standard View. For value alone, Kidani.

Boardwalk Standard View takes it for me even though it has no sleeper chair and the unit is smaller.

I'd have to put OKW at the top of my list, for size and comfort, heading down there tomorrow, for two weeks in a one bedroom. Maybe a refurbed one to see the upgrades.

Wow, 2 weeks-that's awesome! Just curious-what do you plan to do? Go to parks every day? Golf? Mini-golf? Rent boats? Relax by the pool?

We usually get a ten day pass and spread it out but also from there we walk to Disney springs, hit the movies , bowl, people watch. We walk a lot! Last time we were there, according to my wife's fit- bit walked 114 miles. We also check out the other dvc resorts, that's how we ended up at okw. Out of here very early tomorrow morning, missing all that snow we're getting here in the North East, sweet.

Have fun!!!! Perfect timing for you.

Vero Beach is my favorite, the layout is unique to the WDW resorts and we were lucky enough to get an ocean view with ours. It has the extra sleeper chair too.
