What was the last hotel/motel/villa/condo you stayed at?

In January, I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Plantation, Florida - one night prior to a week-long cruise on the Regal Princess.

The Hilton in downtown Minneapolis. DD and I had dinner, and saw a play. Decided to stay overnight rather than drive home. Got it last minute for $60, which was a very good deal. We spent more on dinner, and way more on the play. LOL.

Before that, it was the Explorean in Cozumel in early February, which is one of our favorite places.

My MIL's house in Fort Myers probably doesn't count :p

Last one for me would have been a Holiday Inn in Covington, KY for a soccer tournament in the Cincy area. Wife is in Banglore, India right now staying in a JW Marriott.

This weekend, we'll be in a Fairfield Inn in Rochester, NY, for our son's accepted student open house weekend (at RIT). Then next week, I'll be in a Marriott in downtown Kansas City for a conference. Busy month of travelling.

The Havana Cabana in Key West, about a month ago. Otherwise its been a whirlwind of Hampton Inns across the midwest for college visits. Mixin' it up next week at a Fairfield Inn in Muncie IN. whoo hooo!!!

Last week at the DeSoto in Savannah GA for a conference. In Feb at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary for a meeting.

My friends have all loved the JW Marriott's in India. I'm sure your wife likes hers, too.

Congratulation on your DS being accepted to RIT! My nephew goes there now (freshman) and the one thing he asked everyone to get for him for Christmas was warmer clothes. He is from outside of Philadelphia and the Rochester winter shocked him. Just a thought before he starts.

Sounds like the JW Marriott was really nice - a lot cheaper than I would have thought, but I suppose it's probably pricey by Indian standards?

Being from Cleveland, I think my son has a general idea what he's getting himself into, weather wise, but you're right, the Rochester winters are supposed to be really harsh, so he might even be a little surprised.

DW and I live about a mile from the Fairfield Inn in beautiful (LOL) Muncie, IN. I don't know how familiar you are with Muncie, but for dinner you might try Amazing Joe's on Wheeling Ave.. In my opinion it's good food at a reasonable cost.
