Chick-fil-a drive-thru question

Huh. I don't frequent fast food places much at all, but last week someone I was driving asked me to take her through the Chick-Fil-A drive thru, and it was order over the speaker like any other place. Do they all have people outside?

Uh, nope - that was definitely you taking a shot. Since you "LOL'd" and cute-emojii'd it you must of though it was charming - at least own it.

I laughed because I can't pin point why I don't like it....I laughed because I sound like a crazy person. Charming? ain't nothing charming about it.....I'm offended that you'd think that I'd think it was charming. Take your internet deciphering somewhere else.

All of the ones here have people outside. One of them just started it recently though after an extensive remodeling. Maybe it was an older restaurant?

The chick FIL A near me has 3 drive thru lanes and can get more cars thru faster than some of the other fast food places in town with one lane and less cars. Having staff outside taking orders helps with the wait time plus when you are doing something it changes the perception of the wait time. They have really great customer service which makes the experience pleasant.

I don't go there or Hobby Lobby. I'm not judging or preaching and I'm so NOT the "radical" person, but for some reason Chick Fil A and Hobby Lobby get in my crawl. LOL I think its the closed on Sunday BS. I don't know..... :duck:
I am right with you. Won't cross the threshold of Chik-Fil-A, Wendys, nor Hobby Lobby. I don't like their food nor their business practices. Good thing Wendys and Hobby Lobby near us closed due to poor business. I would have to drive miles to find one.

I have never been to a Chick Fil A.

What is so special about it?
Nothing. It is rubbery chicken although it does have a cult following. Luckily for us, there is a McDonalds, a Sonic, a Burger King, Popeyes, and about 10 other fast food restaurants in a row. The Chick-Fil-A near us hardly ever has traffic and I have never seen anyone outside taking orders.

Give me Canes chicken any day. WAY better than Chick Fil A.

If their drive thru is backed up-- which is almost always during meal times-- I park, place my order on the app, check email for a minute, walk in to the app pickup grab my food and leave. I've seen cars in line that still haven't ordered that were there when i got there and i'm on my way.

So a company that respects their employees enough to give every single one of them a day to rest and to spend time with their families and worship the Lord is BS?

It's definitely not BS, but whatever.

I will say that it stinks though to be craving Chick-fil-A on a Sunday, lol.

2 Chik Fil As close to me have competing chicken places across the street from them. 1 has a Bojangles and the other has a Zaxbys. My guess is their busiest day is Sunday.

CFA has the best customer service around. When ours is busy, which is most of the time, they put 2 or more employees outside to take orders and can get six cars served before Mc Donald's could serve two. They have the fastest drive through, period. The place is always clean, has flowers on the tables, the best employees, etc. To open a CFA around here is to find a pot of gold. Sure, I have to listen to DD moan when she wants CFA and it's a Sunday. But I have no issue with them closing on Sundays.

I won't eat at Cane's, but the teens like it. The menu is too limited and those crinkle cut fries are disgusting.
