Hello,

I'm wondering what the best options are for getting from the Wilderness Lodge to Epcot. I know that I could take a bus directly, but I am wondering if it might make sense to take a boat and monorail? What would the best route be in the morning?

The bus is by far the fastest and most direct. Taking a boat involves going to MK, taking a monorail to the TTC, and then transferring to the Epcot monorail.

Speed - Lyft/Uber/Minnie Van
Views & Fun - Boat & Monorail
Followed by a the bus.

If you are looking for the fastest, most direct method, consider uber/lyft/Minnie Van as the bus from WL to EP typically shares with Ft. W and, IMHO, takes forever. You can boat and monorail, however, the boat to MK doesn't start very early in the morning, so if you are trying to get to EP for RD, you'll need to boat to CR, get on the monorail to TTC and then transfer to the EP monorail.

We just take the bus to Epcot. The morning bus goes directly to Epcot. Later in the day and at night the bus usually stops at Fort Wilderness before going to Epcot, but it doesn't take too long.

The boat to CR then the monorail to Epcot can take a long time, usually at least 40 minutes.

Been there, done that. The bus is the fastest. If you want the "fun" factor, take the boat/monorail. Timewise, it will be about double the time (depending on your waits for the boat and 2 trains.) Sometimes we'd take the bus there, then trains back for the "fun" factor.

If you want fewer crowds entering Epcot take a Lyft/Uber/Minnie Van to Beach Club and enter Epcot through World Showcase.

As others have said, if you truly want the fastest then uber / lyft / taxi is the way to go, free transport will be the bus and most involved will be monorail. The thing to think about with the monorail is that you will go through bag check twice. Once to get into the TTC and then again when you get to Epcot, so that adds to the logistics. We usually just jump on the bus or grab a taxi if we are really wanting to get there quick.
