it get an automatic, no, I wont watch it.

I have two types, any comic book heroes (I know many people love but not my thing) and I dont watch any movie about an animal, the mostly have happy endings, but I dont want to see all the drama happening to the animal before we get their

Sad animal movies are an automatic nope from me.

Except one evening I was flipping channels & accidentally ended up watching "Marley & Me." By the end, my eyes were practically swollen shut from ugly crying.

I'm also not a fan of stupid-funny movies like "Dumb & Dumber" & "Napoleon Dynamite."

Yeah, I don't do the Super Hero movies either...except "Deadpool" because I was told it was really funny, and it was.

I won't watch those action/adventure movies either. The ones with extended car chases, and people hanging from helicopters...just, nope.

I also don't like war/violence type movies. Or boring movies - how anyone sat through "Dune" is a mystery to me.

Sad animal movies are also a no.

I'm in the animal movies (that I know will have sad parts) and the stupid comedies.

I like action, thriller, mild horror

you dont watch movies, do ya ? :p

I LOVE movies - there just isn't enough stuff out there that hasn't already been done! I do especially like comedies, though.

Old humour like the Three Stooges

ancient mythological movies

Superhero movies- except Batman. We watched Wonder Woman a few nights ago and it was tolerable for about the last 15 minutes. Then it turned into the biggest pile of dung.

I’ll give anything a chance, I guess, because you never really know. I have such an eclectic top five favourite movies list

Body possession moves, i.e. The Exorcist, Stigmata, Get Out.

Gory & Most Horror is out. Miss the quick slasher movies though & miss ya tons Wes Craven.

Highly critic acclaimed movies that make you go huh or what? i.e. Her, Birdman, Ladybird, Gone Girl.

Remakes & Reboots, i.e. Godzilla, Arthur, Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Annie.

Raunchy comedies (or what passes for comedy in those cases). :sad2:

One million years could elapse without me ever choosing to go see a super-hero move but DS loves them so occasionally we do.

This, this, this!! I've even been switching the channel when the commercial for the new "dog dies over and over" one comes on.

Horror movies

This one is complicated for me. I can watch a good alien invasion movie, but most psychological thriller types creep me out. Pretty much the more "realistic" it is, the less I like it.

Gory horror movies, war movies with graphic battle scenes, and anything with excessive violence, like Quentin Tarantino movies. I don’t find any of that stuff entertaining.

Yeah. I've seen a few war movies with DH, but mostly they're not my thing either, and the Quentin Tarantino type movies are definitely out for me.

Old humour like the Three Stooges

Agreed. Just not funny to me.

I don't care for suspense movies. The ones where you are on the edge of your seat.

I don't mind sad movies, but I really prefer feel good movies.

I often dislike the movies that win awards. I want to be entertained.

Horror or scary movies, animals for me too- can't stand to see an animal mistreated or die even on screen, I don't do war/terrorist movies. Generally I avoid anything that might make me cry. There is enough to cry about in real life.
