I decided to make the recipe that had layers of an oat mixture and jam in between the layers. It’s the recipe that was an attachment to the post.

So, I just saw the dr and she’s pretty sure that it’s just some gnarly scar tissue from my hysterectomy two years ago. She’s going to review the ct and wait for the labs and go from there.

thinking happy thoughts for you to "fly through" that waiting room and into the care of doctors/nurses who can take the time to spend with you about your health! if there's only a 3 hour wait, then savour that personal touch from medical care that you just don't normally, sitting in the hallway on the floor with an IV pole with 35 other people that the nurses only have time to run down the hall and keep taking vitals LOL

Canadian hospitals, I swear they are like Disney, in that the Shared Guest Experience is what you make of it while hanging out with your new, strange, randomly-enforced friends by proximity, in a Triaged queue...

And I’m home again. The bloodwork was normal. I have to follow up with my regular dr but I’m still glad I went this morning. If I had started with my dr it would have been a multi building visit anyway since they don’t have a lab on site to do blood draws.

On the bright(?) side, my port is so twisted that it is a huge effort to try and poke it. The nurse gave me the name of a patch I can put on the area before I know it will be used to freeze the area.
