What do you think is the best non-park midpriced table service restaurant experience?

Hi there,

Looking for your opinions & recommendations for a great midprice WDW restaurant not in a park?

Planning a small group adult birthday dinner. I'm not looking for "fine dining" like V&A, but one could have a more of "fun" experience. For example, one idea was going to Sanaa and then animal-watching with nightvision goggles.

Thanks!

For a fun dinner, I think Sanaa is a great idea. Other thoughts - WCC at WL, Raglan Road at DS. Not exactly mid-range, but Hoop Dee Doo Revue is really fun and will recognize the birthday - the price includes tax and tip as well.

Sanaa is one of the best places on property. Also some fantastic mid price places at DS.

Raglan Road has a fun atmosphere. Food is decent.

Homecomin is good too. It has comfort food.

Nomad Lounge is wonderful and has nice seating outside. It’s one of our favorite places in WDW. No reservations though.

Olivia's is one of our favorites. The "Wave" would also be right up there.
We love the WAVE! I would go there and then watch the fireworks somewhere nearby or the Electric Water Pageant or go to Trader Sams or Tambu Lounge

Homecomin at Disney Springs too then all of the fun at DS

There are several that I enjoy that are not in the parks. Not in any particular order.
  1. Raglan Road. For dinner this place not only has good food but it is very entertaining.
  2. Whispering Canyon Cafe. I enjoy the comfort foods in the endless skillet such as wings, BBQ Ribs, corn on the cob and etc. That and the antics are a lot of fun.
  3. Boma. The only buffet in WDW that I would rate as at least average in regards to food quality.
  4. Sanaa. Very good food and a great atmosphere.
  5. The Wave. Nothing stands out as spectacular or unique in decor, but the food was a very pleasant surprise for me when we tried it for the first time in 2016.

Echoing several of the above and in no particular order

Sanaa. Fun for the reasons you mentioned
Homecomin. Lively atmosphere, excellent food
Sebastian's Bistro. The attached outdoor bar, Banana Cabana would be a great place for some B-Day drinks
Raglan Road. Fun, loud and excellent entertainment
and I'll add the Boathouse because even though it's a Signature Restaurant they have a bunch of selections between $16-$25 and it's hard to beat having dinner and drinks on the Dock.
