We usually go somewhere during Thanksgiving week, but this past year, we stayed home because there was some senior year stuff my son wanted to be home for.

We actually haven't been to WDW in 5 or 6 years, I think. Couple years ago (again, Thanksgiving time), we did go to DL, though.

Oh, and we're heading to Maui in about 6 weeks :sunny:

I can honestly say that I've not ever had a real vacation other than Disney and going to visit family. Other than little weekend trips with friends or when my girls were little.

I will say that last July I dog/house sat for my sister for 18 days. That was a real vacation from all responsibility! Just me and the dog. Loved it

NOLA is my new favorite, even surpassing WDW. We kinda gave up on Disney after 12 trips in 10 years. The value for your money and quality of product went into the toilet for awhile. We plan to return in a few years after the current projects are complete to see if it's better for us.
