Haha. I confess I had no idea what VV was until maybe 2 years ago, and first thought it referred to a wine label or wine club. Once you know, you start noticing it everywhere. It really is a can’t miss preppy leisurely style. I don’t see it much here in the city. I tried hard to think if I see it around in the Marina, but even there the style has moved over to athleisure brands, that whole I just came from my yoga class but not really look. Oh, and Rothy’s shoes. Everywhere. My wife has 6 pairs. :faint:

Googling Rothy's... yeah, I totally need some of those. Need to look like I fit in when I go to the Bay area.

Where I live I see lots of VV, but the "just came from yoga" look is also very in, at least, among all the stay at home moms in my neighborhood.

Finally, all of our summer vacations are booked!
June- 10 nights in FL- 1 night Hyatt at the airport, 3 nights Sheraton Clearwater Beach, 3 nights Renaissance at SeaWorld, 3 nights at RPR Club level- OOP- $531 for 3 nights at Renaissance and $225 for SeaWorld/Aquatica tickets on Daily Getaways. Flights, car rental and other hotels covered with points, already have Universal APs
July- 2 nights at GWL Williamsburg OOP, 5 nights at Courtyard VA Beach- on points
Aug- 5 nights in Punta Cana- flights on points, hotel OOP since it is so cheap for all-inclusive, 2 rooms since we are taking my mom

I could use my Arrival + bonuses to offset but I am saving them to say that our March 2020 cruise is free :)

I’m going to have to show these to my hubby! He thinks we’re the only ones that go on “so many vacations.” I didn’t think a Mar cruise, June lake, Aug Hilton Head, Oct Gatlinburg, Nov Vegas was too much! Haha!

Also for those that won't go read I saw this there -

I did ask if the emojis are in addition to what we have to make sure we aren't losing what we have or I know they'll be some

Here's the answer

I believe the emojis will remain and more will be added through smiles. If you have ever visited wdwmagic it will be a similar look to that.

I don’t think multiple CIPs puts you at any more risk of shutdown than any other chase card. Just keep your pacing in mind :)

DISchurners has some info on AA miles for Disney hotels. If you have no use for them for flights, hotels and cars are not a bad option. Once you have a card and some miles you can view the best pricing on their UseAAmiles.com site (for non Disney hotels). They’re worth roughly 1cpp which given how easy they are to earn, I don’t think it’s a poor value.

Thanks! I think my plan will be Hilton AMEX Biz for me (although it’s not showing up as an option for DH to refer me, boo!) The Barclay AA Biz for DH. Then around Sept 1st go for a CIP again with EIN. Meet MSR right before Dec and get the Southwest personal/biz for Christmas/spring break trip booking...

Ugh, I am googling too LOL I am not fashionable but I have a weakness for super comfy shoes.
I tried the Allbirds but I sent them back. They were either too big or too small.

Exactly! The VV clothing items I picked up on Saturday definitely seem to be a lesser quality cotton. I have never seen clothes wrinkle so fast. The long blue / white skirt is thin fabric and it's not lined (definite no for me for a summer skirt!). The t-shirts seems thin. The pet stuff is nice -- my dog loves her new collar rosette and leash! The few clothing items I bought are going back, except for the navy blue / white dress, which *may* go back because it's a bit short on my almost 6' frame; I can pull it off, but sitting down will be a bit difficult lol! I wish I'd been able to stay in bed and sleep (I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep). I'm going to skip the next colab because I'd rather pay retail than deal with the crowds / very limited merchandise.
Is it the blue/white dress sleeveless with the ruffle top and sailboat pattern? I got that one also and am torn whether I am keeping it or not. But I'm only 5' 3'' so it has plenty of length just can't decide how much I like it. DS's swim trunks look nice although he wasn't thrilled with the whales all over them. I was completely surprised the XL (size 16) fit him since he is only 12. Pretty sure I'll be returning the size 14 pants from RL that I just ordered since he has grown a 1/2 " in less than a month and doesn't need the pants for 3 months.

Lol. You can save $20 on your first order if you click through a support link and activate Ebates for 5% cash back. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen Rothy’s have a sale.

Ha, that doesn't include our weekend getaways to Hersheypark. Plus we'll have FL in Nov for Thanksgiving and Punta Cana again for Christmas. DS has 2 1/2 weeks off at Christmas but sadly his CP expires on 12/31 so I have account for that.

DH doesn't complain at all but I do get lots of comments from my co-workers :)

I have 4 pair---pale tan, medium gray, hot pink with pointed toes (love!), and blue & white patterned sneakers. Rothy's are so comfortable! I have super high arches yet am able to walk for miles in my Rothy's without any leg pain later. I can throw them into the wash whenever and the colors don't change. I hurt my left pinky toe last year by stubbing it on the table in a BRV living room and since then my foot doesn't like to bend when I wear heels. Rothy's are my go-to shoes when not wearing workout sneakers.

Next ones will be red

I keep looking at these and the Allbirds. See great reviews on both of them, but I just can't pull the trigger. Sometimes I really hate my cheapskate self. lol My friend tries to tell me I am spending more by buying many shoes that eventually hurt my feet, but I just have to push myself over that price. Maybe soon. Let me know if there is an AMEX offer or great Ebates deal, because I can convince myself of almost anything if I think I am getting a good deal, even if it is still pricey.

I'm with you. I keep looking at Rothy's. I'm really in love with the blue Moroccan pattern flats. Which is why my personal spending money balance in our budget is about to hit $350 lol. Pretty sure there is still Christmas/Birthday money in there.

Right now, I spend $60 to $70 on the Born flats that I like...

The other way around. I don't get it.

Really? Not from my experience. Interesting. Though the engineers at the race team for the most part weren't all up in their heads like some engineers are. Probably because racing is why they went into it so different mindset to start.

That's odd to not have the referral option (from your DH's Hilton card?). You may have to click to "Looking for a Business Card".

He has weird ideas about colors. I have a feeling he probably would have fit in well with the engineers on your race team. He didn't really click with any classmates in college... different mindset :)
