Dude sits on the floor behind my seat when we go in the car since he was a puppy, his choice I can't get him to stay in the front. Probably better this way. Last month Mom and I took the boys for a sunday morning drive so we could go through the new tunnel in Seattle and hit the car wash on the way back. I had thought I'd taken Dude through a car wash before but apparently not because the next thing I knew it felt like I was watching It's Tough to Be a Bug because he managed to scrunch down enough to get under my seat. I drive a 2 door coupe that's low to the ground so the seats also don't have a ton of room under. He stayed there til we got home and I had to pull him out, he was half under on top of the ice scraper, window brush and squeegee I keep under the seat. We laughed so much.

Anyway, all this to say that even a normally decent car riding pet can have something set them off. Buddy has been known to bark at the windshield wipers, especially in the dark with snow/ice building up on them. So hilarious.
We just crated our cats and drove them out and I don’t remember anything odd happening but it’s been awhile.

We used to drive our cats with us every time we went home from college (a 2 hour drive) and they would sometimes throw up from the motion and would meow the entire two hours. I would go crazy listening to them for 20 hours lol

Poor kitties. This is in preparation to drive them to FL? When we moved to CO from TX, we did nothing in the way of meds and our cats were fine but I guess if they are high-strung, this is necessary.

We took in a "stray"(or maybe actually it was someone's outdoor cat we commandeered? ) and decided to get her fixed after it was clear we were her new family. I didn't have any pet accessories like a crate but I figured the two mile drive down to the vet would be no big deal. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE! That cat went from sweet to demon possessed as she was squealing and jumping from window to window and climbing up me while I drove down the road. Then we get there and she tried tearing me to shreds when she saw a dog in someone's car she wanted to maul. That was all such a bad choice.
I am the proud owner of a crate now.

Lol! Sounds like she went savage! Yeah, we always crated our cats for any travel, even just to the vet. Cats have a way of going all out bonkers on you lol!

We've taken our oldest cat on a road trip from FL to AL when she was a kitten and she spent the first half hour or so roaming the car and getting her barings. Then wanted to sit on the driver's lap. We take both cats down the road to my in laws without a carrier, but that's only a mile and the one meows the whole time while the older one curls up and sleeps. Vet trips for sure use the carrier. We have an awesome hard plastic one from Amazon that gets compliments every time we take it out. A few years ago I bought a second one when Hurricane Matthew was coming as I wanted to make sure we could pack both cats up in case of evacuation. The one I got ended up being kinda small, but would do in an emergency.

You can’t refer across partners. Hilton can refer to Hilton. Marriott to Marriott. The only way you can refer to ALL cards is from an Amex branded card (ie MR cards or BCE, etc.). Could that be the issue?

If not - still just a friendly reminder to everybody, lol.

I'm trying to refer DH's Hilton Biz so that I can get the same Hilton Biz. When I log into the AMEX account though and go to "Refer a friend" it only shows the option of referring the Bonvoy and the Marriott Biz, no Hilton. Oh well, worse case I can use one of the links in Dischurners.

I'm assuming this doesn't work for me because our Amex card is a Hilton card?
Correct, you have to have one of the MR earning cards for this promotion to work.

I got an auto CLI from Navy Fed today and a new BT card from them that will let me pay for all of my Disney trip on my CSP then move it over at 0% for a year. Now if only AMEX would give me a Delta card so I wouldn't have to pay for bags.

Any thoughts on Swan vs Dolphin? I know Dolphin has double beds, which will NEVER work but I read we could do a roll-away bed there so if I did one for each room, that would be 6 beds. Swan would be tight since it's only 4 beds and no roll-aways. Is there anything else I need to consider?

WE just got back from a stay at the Swan and loved it there! The swan has a sink in the bathroom and another outside the bathroom which was great for getting ready in the morning. The Swan also seemed to have more convention people there, so there were very few people using the Disney buses, the Dolphin bus stop was much more crowded. The swan is also the first stop, so we always got a seat getting on and got off first. The Dolphin had more casual eating options, but we didn't eat at the hotel at all, only ordered food at the pool once. Have a great trip!

Fastpass Day today... DD and I were up at 6. She on her computer and me on my Ipad. Got everything we wanted including FOP twice and Slinky Dog Dash. Now the countdown begins. Will need a vacation after June is over. DD Graduates on June 2nd. Her Birthday is the 5th and my Dad's and Niece is the 7th. Mine is the 20th and my brothers the 30th. Add in Fathers Day and 13 Graduation Party's (so far) we need to attend and also DD's Grad Party on the 22nd. Oh yeah - and throw in DD's orientation at college for 2 days. I need a vacation just thinking about it all.

Yesterday was our fastpass day, too. We got FOP at 60+3 around noon and SDD at 60+5 around 11:30. Hoping that it's not too crowded since it wasn't too hard to get all the fast passes we wanted, at the times we wanted! Hope you have a great trip!! And good luck with June.

Congrats party:

I'm not familiar with Tieks, sorry. Rothy's and the inserts can be machine washed :worship: They must be air-dried (bc plastic lol) but dry very quickly.

This is a major selling point for me. I think I'll have to try a pair soon!

Reach out to the company. I've had Tieks replaced before.
Thanks, I will! It didn't even occur to me to check with the company since it's really my own fault for not watching where I'm going.
