I hang on to them until I'm sure there's no refunds. Usually it's a few weeks (or a few months if I forget about them :rolleyes1

) then I double check they are $0 and shred.

Well I'm sure we can figure something out! I was very very excited that we were going to be there just after the release. I want that Figment shirt... Is that the one you're eyeing? I know DH wants the magicband even though you can't see it very well in the photos so far.

Both of us used the 40K/$250 statement credit one on DoC's site (not through making a dummy booking). I got the 40K miles, plus additional 20K mile granted letter (although those haven't posted yet). DH did not get any bonus miles. I'm still hoping they will show up, but @SouthFayetteFan's DPs are convincing me that they probably won't.

I applied ten days before him (me 4/1, him 4/11), and I had instant approval whereas his went pending. I haven't contacted Citi because I've got no leg to stand on, and I think I'll just let this one pass since he still has CitiBiz#1 open from 7/2017 (and I have CitiBiz#1 open from 10/2017). I'll wait for the 24 months to pass since his last bonus from Citi then apply again since I won't need a mailer by then. And I'll close his 2 open CitiBiz cards at least a month before applying for him.

Is it just the Biz cards that are showing this trend, or the personal ones too?

ETA: maybe I will talk to Citi if I don't see anything when DH's 2nd statement posts. I've got nothing to lose.

That is the one. I showed it both my dh and dd and they both said "that is your perfect shirt". I was hoping for Illuminations farewell shirts, and I love figment, and I love baseball style tees

I decided to renew AAA and was able to use a VGC, so at least I got at least $11 in fuel savings and $8+ in URs out of it (minus the activation fee)

The Disney Springs Hilton? That has a resort fee that would be waived if you stay on points. So something you can add in when you calculate the value. Gold status comes with free breakfast when you book direct or stay on points. That's the benefit I'm finding most useful.

DH got an offer in the mail yesterday, for 10% back in a statement credit on up to $1000 in purchases at home improvement stores on his Sears Card. Woooooooo lol.

Yes, the Hilton Palace was nice! That's a great offer having the resort fees waived. I'll have to look into parking too. Do you stay there often?

No, never stayed there. I was just looking at my options for next year.

One that comes with FP+ at 60 days. I'm leaning towards the Hilton Bonnet Creek or the Waldorf (that's at 80k points). Oh, I forgot to mention, you get 5th night free if you stay on points too.

ETA: As far as I can tell, parking is not waived with status (boo).

You sound like my dd19! She loves Illuminations and Figment (also loves baseball). I think she needs this shirt too lol.

When dh & I were at BC back in March, a DIS'er offered to get my dd the Figment phone case she wanted since we weren't going in to the parks. Super sweet of her and she has an AP so even better!

Thanks for the details. Did you try to buy gc's yet for the statement credit for your dh's card?

For as long as Caesar's partners with Wyndham, so probably a few years at least. You can keep your status with both by matching back and forth since they have different membership years. The trick is mostly figuring out how to get to Wyndham Diamond to do it, since they started this status challenge that lets more tiers match to Diamond it's easier now. Wyndham's membership year ends 12/31 so I'm Diamond there until the end of the year. Caesar's end 1/31 so I'm Diamond there until 1/31/2020. In Jan I'll use Caesar's to flip Wyndham back to Diamond and then in Feb do the reverse. I hope this keeps up for a bit, this is my first time doing the rounds this year
