I have lived in both places. Twice in Fla and once in Cal. I loved living in both places. But gonna say that Fla would be the place I'd live. Oddly enough I love the heat.

I lived in California for ten years. Yes, I'd go back.

I've never been to Florida, but everyone I've talked to who either has visited or has lived there complains about the swampy terrain.

So true!!! I hate hurricanes but at least we know they are coming. When I lived in the San Fran area I got to experience a small tremor. It was so freaky. I was paranoid for weeks after. I had irrational fears that one would hit while I was in the shower I lived through Hurricane Harvey awhile back and as horrible as that was I'd rather live through that than a real earthquake!

Florida......would love the heat and humidity and hopefully have a pool in the backyard and a really good pest control service!

Under the current State leadership I could not vote for CA, this is not about politics but rather about priorities and taxation. Not a fan of humidity, but I'd pick FL in a heartbeat if I had to live in one. I lived in CA for 2 years, very happy I left.

My DH is from CA but moved to FL when we married. He knows he's welcome to return there but he'll be alone. Florida isn't perfect but I'm much more comfortable (on so many levels) in FL than CA.

The only thing I hate about Florida is the hurricanes other then that I was blessed to be born and raised in the sunshine state

I live in Florida and I like it. For financial reasons/DH's work it's where we need to be for now.

But I voted for California. I'd love to live somewhere around Big Sur.

California is so beautiful. I just love it there. I love watching the real estate show where they feature the homes in the hills overlooking LA. Has a very "la la land" old Hollywood vibe.
