Best non-signature restaurants at the resorts or Disney Springs?

We really enjoy the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs. They are just open for dinner. Good food and always nice service. It's also on the quiet side which we enjoy also.

I'm sorry to hear this but glad that your evening still turned out well. I guess ever restaurant can have an off night, I hope this does not become a common occurrence at Olivia's.
I'm assuming they were just understaffed that night, or there was just some miscommunication. Always a bummer when it happens to you though. He seemed to handle it like a gentleman.

Apparently Olivias is where the train new staff before they move on or are not kept

We absolutely love Raglan Road. The good is good and the music and Irish dancers are so fun. If you go, try the dalkey duo sausage rolls and bread pudding.
We have a trip next week and it's the only place my husband wanted to book.

Side note, we've tried the brunch twice and didn't like it but dinner is a must do!

So must agree atmosphere is every thing in that place and food is Americanised IRISH but excellent .
Dancing is AMERICAN style IRISH dancing but well, well done

It was so new the last time I stayed there with Just Congress park and the springs that I remember but never eat there must give it a spin on your recommendation. My boys in their tihirties and forties now have always liked the resort since pleasure Island and now the springs is so close.

We love Boma, so that'd be at the top of my list! We have had good meals at The Wave, Raglan Road (I know- you said resorts, but I am thinking non-signature in general), Ale&Compass. I want to try Olivia's and Grand Floridian Cafe sometime; both seem to be real sleepers, getting great reviews but not mentioned often. NOT a fan of Chef Mickey's or Kona Cafe. We've eaten at Ohana several times but each time the quality seems to have slipped a bit more, so not sure I can recommend this.
Have breakfast at O ,Hanas never miss a breakfast every year we are there food and entertainment is superb

Earl of Sandwich at Springs is also one of our favourites ,great choice of sandwich and in expensive compared to Germany

Recommend Espn at Boardwalk and the brewery, there they have steak it was one the best and reasonable priced. That place has its own Miicro brewery also if you like beer .
You have to try Beached and Cream at Beach club villas for the desert .My youngest son as a teenager eat their signature icecream sharer Kitchen sink all on his own ,dare you!!!!!

Fast food at Boardwalk have a massive pizza and a few drinks right there on the Wooden Boardwalk surrounding the Lake

Don’t forget to have fish and chips or other traditional British food and a Guinness at the Rose and Crown at Epcot

Take an Uber tomUniversal and sample the Hard Rock Cafe an City Walk,my favourite and many other inexpensive restaurants there

Boma {really unique}......Morimoto Asia {never ever disappoints}......Ohana for Dinner {delicous food}.......Boathouse [top quality food} ......Homecoming {traditional southern food...so good}

For character meals, we like breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Artist Point and possibly the Bonvoyage breakfast on the Boardwalk

Cape May for seafood, Hollywood Brown Derby for steak, Baseline in DHS for charcuterie, Skipper Canteen in MK (the whole fried fish is awesome), and Chefs de France in EPCOT.

Contemporary Resort:
The Wave - affordably priced but delicious. Can often get same day reservations very easily. You could even walk or monorail from MK to have a quiet afternoon lunch and a break from the park.

Wilderness Lodge:
Geyser Point - Possibly the most relaxing spot on property. On a nice day this is a beautiful place to lounge by the lake and enjoy lunch and cocktails. Great food.

Polynesian:
Kona Cafe - One of the best breakfasts on property. And won't break the bank. Tonga Toast is very heavy but oh so tasty. Great coffee too.

Fort Wilderness:
Trail's End - you cannot beat the breakfast buffet here. Yes it's a buffet, but they have so much variety and everything is delicious. And then you can enjoy the rustic nature of the grounds afterwards.
Hoop Dee Doo Revue - this one costs more than you might be looking for, but it is more food than you could possibly eat (BBQ, salads, amazing cornbread, dessert) and a very entertaining show is included!

Disney Springs:
The Edison - Great atmosphere! At night there is usually live music and roaming steampunk characters. Also my favorite spot to just get apps and drinks at the downstairs bar.
The Boathouse - Honestly, the food is pretty standard imo. But there's a little outdoor bar tucked away on the dock behind the restaurant which is a wonderful setting on a nice breezy day with lots of old school boats to check out along the marina.

EPCOT:
Chefs de France - In France pavilion, one of the only locations with a prix fixe menu to make dining affordable.

Wine Bar George
Raglan Road
Spice Road Table
Olivia's for breakfast
Ohana, we've never had a bad meal there despite some poor reviews on here
Bongo's was a favorite for Cuban food, but they closed and reopened as Estefan Kitchen in Margaritaville, which is not far from property. The Chimichurri prime rib is on my radar. They consistently had good churrasco in Disney Springs and I would imagine it's the same.

Yacht Club - Ale and Compass - nice atmosphere and great food
Polynesian - Kona Cafe - for all meals, especially breakfast. we stopped going to O'Hanna's as the service and rude and rushed, too much money to be treated in that manner.
Boardwalk - Trattoria al Forno
Contemporary - The Wave - best breakfast buffet !!!
Fort Wilderness- Breakfast Buffet - out of the way, quiet, great service, delicious and different breakfast foods served
Disney Springs- Florida Homecoming - best fried chicken, wow - always delicious, always friendly service
Saratoga Srpings - Turf Club - kind of hidden, small, with great food
