We really enjoy the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs. They are just open for dinner. Good food and always nice service. It's also on the quiet side which we enjoy also.
I'm assuming they were just understaffed that night, or there was just some miscommunication. Always a bummer when it happens to you though. He seemed to handle it like a gentleman.I'm sorry to hear this but glad that your evening still turned out well. I guess ever restaurant can have an off night, I hope this does not become a common occurrence at Olivia's.
Apparently Olivias is where the train new staff before they move on or are not keptI'm assuming they were just understaffed that night, or there was just some miscommunication. Always a bummer when it happens to you though. He seemed to handle it like a gentleman.
So must agree atmosphere is every thing in that place and food is Americanised IRISH but excellent .We absolutely love Raglan Road. The good is good and the music and Irish dancers are so fun. If you go, try the dalkey duo sausage rolls and bread pudding.
We have a trip next week and it's the only place my husband wanted to book.
Side note, we've tried the brunch twice and didn't like it but dinner is a must do!
It was so new the last time I stayed there with Just Congress park and the springs that I remember but never eat there must give it a spin on your recommendation. My boys in their tihirties and forties now have always liked the resort since pleasure Island and now the springs is so close. We really enjoy the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs. Have breakfast at O ,Hanas never miss a breakfast every year we are there food and entertainment is superbWe love Boma, so that'd be at the top of my list! We have had good meals at The Wave, Raglan Road (I know- you said resorts, but I am thinking non-signature in general), Ale&Compass. I want to try Olivia's and Grand Floridian Cafe sometime; both seem to be real sleepers, getting great reviews but not mentioned often. NOT a fan of Chef Mickey's or Kona Cafe. We've eaten at Ohana several times but each time the quality seems to have slipped a bit more, so not sure I can recommend this.
