If you are allowed by your local governing body. In my state (NC) -- the local large amusement park (Carowinds) was never allowed to open and are closed until next year.
The one park that was open -- a very small family theme park in the mountains - Tweetsie Railroad, I made a special trip JUST to visit it. They only were running their steam train and Wild West Show (and charged a greatly reduce price), so it was a fun and cheap morning while doing other things in the mountains.
Unfortunately ..there must have been some miscommunication .. and the place was forced to close 6 days after it opened (the day after I was there) by the department of health (even though they were doing all the safety standards). Needless to say, the owners were frustrated. It was safe, it was fun and it was outdoors. No reason it couldn't have been open. With a whole season lost and probably thousands of dollars wasted to try and re-open safely (to only have to close after 6 days) .. it may struggle to open next year.
