SSR is seriously underrated. I have no problem with staying there. Honestly, we would have bought points there (my original DVC bid was for SSR points but we got ROFRed) but since it's easy to book, we just wind up using our other resale points to stay there. I love the SSR pools.

Dues! And all my 2042s are at HHI. I'll still have DVC points at WDW after that.

For me, 2042 will be close to our retirement ages. The dues will be high enough that I'll be ready to be done with them.

I figure this is because most DVC buyers are not as educated as we are. SSR is huge and has some of the most contracts on sale at any given time. The initial low buy in is attractive to someone who isn't all that educated about things like term/dues/use years, etc.

I argue that SSR should be going at under $100/point. People just don't know how to bargain!
