    Shows on the Magic?

I don't recall seeing several Cinderellas.

    Shows on the Magic?

Well in that case, one could argue that in Disney stories the princesses all fall deeply in love within 10 minutes after they’ve met their prince and they always live happily ever after. Step mothers are usually evil and in most cases, the parents get killed off early in the movie.

    Debt Dumpers 2024

Thank you. This is much more informative that what I would have explained. My dad taught me this as a teenager and dh has referenced it before so I assumed most adults know this. Maybe it's a regional thing or maybe because both our families full of various tradesmen. I should not assume.

    Debt Dumpers 2024

Are you wife's tires that urgent that you need to take a loan for them? Do they pass the penny test? Is it something that can be delayed a month or 2? I needed new front tires for months before I finally got around to it. They weren't bald but worn enough that I knew it needed to be done...

    Shows on the Magic?

Twice Charmed and Disney Dreams are my favorites. We have seen them so many times that ds27 hasn't sailed with us in years but he could probably still sing several lines of "It's Never Too Late".:goodvibes When dh asks me how many times can I stand seeing the same shows, I ask him...

    Ship Port Credit

For us, that’s only happened maybe 2-3x in 28 Disney cruises.

    Debt Dumpers 2024

Damn girl you are so lucky at the casinos! :goodvibes :shamrock: On the few occasions we have gambled, we just lose, lose, lose. So quickly that it’s scary and makes it about as enjoyable as flushing cash down the toilet. I quickly gave up.

    Debt Dumpers 2024

That sucks. Also a good reason to have an emergency fund. Eventually, when you’re debt free it will be much easier to budget for things like this. Tires, brakes and oil changes are expected expenses when you own a car. It’s normal that these items wear out. It’s just so frustrating when...

Transatlantic - Tell Me All the Things!

You’re braver than we are. Even our kids didnt swim in Alaska. Late August.

Transatlantic - Tell Me All the Things!

That’s actually a great idea, not to sponge off someone but to split the cost and share the package. Easy if you’re sailing with a group of friends/family and you can agree on a fair way to share so that no one gets annoyed.

This is for the middle package.

Transatlantic - Tell Me All the Things!

For our 14-nt WBPC, of the 3 packages offered, dh chose the middle one and it was close to $300 for the full cruise. If you don’t think you’ll use it every day, you can buy 24-hour sessions but those cost more per day than if you buy the full cruise package. It also varies with how many devices...

    Cell plan questions...

I agree. It's a nice surprise on the day of boarding. Our TA sends us OBC this way. A note is left in the cabin and the gift buyer can enter a few lines of a message. There are a lot of gift options. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/gifts-and-amenities/link-reservation

    Cell plan questions...

If you're in a port, you should be able to call using any brand of phone. Making phone calls while at sea is very expensive. Does your mom use texting?

    Cell plan questions...

This is what we do. The new internet packages onboard are based on days of use, not how much data is used. There are 3 choices of plans based on what you typically do online.

Transatlantic - Tell Me All the Things!

We have considered doing a WBTA but since they're only offered in the spring and fall, I was worried about the weather being warm enough for pool time in the Northern Atlantic. Can anyone tell me what the temps were when they sailed? We have done 2 WBPC cruises and don't mind the 4...

    Field Trips

Growing up in South Jersey, for elementary school we went to the Philadelphia Zoo, Academy of Natural Science, Franklin Institute, Longwood Gardens and other local places I can’t recall. When we learned about Japan in 4th grade, one kid’s parents took our class to a Japanese restaurant for...
