We used the Rick Steves guide quite a bit. I just looked up the name of the cafe, it's Pasteis de Belem. Sometimes the line is out the door, but following Rick's advice, we went on in to the cafe part where you can sit down and order tarts and great coffee (they have a few other things, too)...

    Lisbon recommendations

We loved Belem, a neighborhood in Lisbon. There's a lot to see in a relatively small area. You can see the Jeronimos Monastery (nearby, under a blue awning, is Portugal's most famous pastry shop, serving yummy custard tarts that are their specialty). Then you can walk along the river to the...

yes, but as I recall we had a meet and greet with Thor (and Captain America? Why can't I remember??) last summer in the Baltic. And I know we definitely saw Captain America on the Eastern Med the year before. My older daughter cares more about the Marvel characters than princesses at this...

OK...got on there and got a breakfast booked. Doesn't look like they have Marvel meet and greet tickets?

Well, bother! I hope they fix this soon. And this mess is with just Gold and up booking it? It's going to fill up :sad1:

Thanks! But it's just hanging with the endless wheel of death for me :/ edited to add: now I'm getting a message that the site is under maintenance. Oh well.

Do you know how we book these? Are these the same meet and greets that we could previously get (free) tickets for from guest services? I am wondering whether these will show up on the at sea days as "on board fun"? (so far, not seeing anything)

    QS at Les Halles?

OK...I wasn't sure. Because I know some things on the menu (like the macarons) aren't eligible. And I have never used DDP there (and have actually never had an entree, just desserts!) I searched but couldn't find concrete examples describing folks using their CS entitlements there...

    QS at Les Halles?

Can anyone confirm what your entree can be if you use a CS at Les Halles? I would rather use a counter service and have an entree and then two pastries (instead of a drink and a pastry) rather than trade in one CS for 3 snacks. But I can't figure out what would constitute the entree part??

Thanks for the clarification DISNEY FANTASY...the magical Online Check-In link not there yet for me, apparently. But at least now I know that I was looking in the right place!

Well, the good news is I was able to get all my desired activities booked (Palo, shore excursions for my mom, etc). :) But, as others have reported, I don't see the magical "check in" button. When it does appear, will it be on the page that says "My Cruise Reservations" or will it be under...

Follow up to my Grand Cayman excursion question...

We used Stingray Sailing for an excursion to Stingray City and snorkeling on a reef. It was great...had only two other families on our boat.

    Placeholder Cruise advantages?

Super useful information, DISNEY FANTASY! Thank you for posting. A friend of mine already warned me about the new website quirks, how you can book Palo and excursions right when your window opens up, but that you can't really "check in" until hours later. I do still have a few questions...

Yes, TA reviews can often be biased, but can be used as a rough guide. I also cross check on Cruise Critic. I need to make sure if we are taking a tour with someone that they are reputable enough to show up and to get us back to the ship on time! We also tend to do private tours (that's what...

This fjord cruise from Bergen gets back too late for my comfort, or I would go on it. I don't want to cut it that close, though! http://www.rodne.no/fjord-cruise/en-bergen-mostraumen/ How walking tours work vary from place to place...I would try emailing them and see. But I would also try...

If we can't go on the Hardangerfjord one, we may just do Bergen on our own. I have the Rick Steves book, and it seems fairly easy to get to the funicular on ones own. But I really liked the idea of seeing a more "fjordy" looking area (I know Oslo is in a fjord, but from what I have read, all the...

7/13/2016 Magic Copenhagen to Dover Geothermal Cruise

Huh! I didn't see any date-specific information, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place? I was looking under the port excursions for each port. The one in Bergen says it's 7-7.5 hours but doesn't say that it's not available on our sailing. I'm just assuming it isn't because of our...
