Time value of money.
$15 for 15 years...35 years in the future.
Resale at the time only valued the extension around $8 a point.
The value of the contracts is mostly in the immediate future. But if you want to give me $10,000, I will happily pay you $12,000 in 30 years. That's a big ole 20%...
You are kind of missing the point that Disney unilaterally extended the ground lease and then demanded that owners sign away their rights to that extension without compensation (barring the $30 credit intended to offset the costs involved in notarizing their quit claim).
Except that in Dean's take, DVC never had the right in the first place to level a special assessment for this situation.
The contracts anticipated possible special assessments for storm damage and such, but not for an extension of the ground lease.
Again, I think there would only be a handful...
I have a pretty small contract and it won't affect me much personally. And while it applies across all resorts, especially 2042 resorts, it's mostly on the radar for OKW owners due to the extension. I was expecting/hoping to hear something in the next few years (by 2026/2027) but Dean's...
The answer is no.
DVD will probably be flirting with a lawsuit soon if they don't address it, but they haven't said a word lately. There has been a lot of turnover the last few years and some of the execs have pushed the limits in other areas with (fraudulent IMO) point charts that were...
Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe is great for breakfast.
Santa Fe Cafe is great and pretty close to the DVC resort.
I agree with One Hot Mamas, Ruan Thai and Frankie Bones (their lobster mac and cheese is expensive but it's a favorite).
But there are a lot of great options...
Fair is one thing.
Legal is another.
Pretty sure that is not legal. But we'll see how it plays out...

From 2008 - even if you were staying at a DVC resort and wanted to use the pool at AKV, you were never allowed to use that pool (just like SAB).

Yep. Online booking opens 1 hour before phone bookings. As long as the 2BR is still available for that last weekend night, just book the last night by phone 1 hour after you book the rest of the stay online.
You've got the basics.
Likelihood partly depends on if it's a runDisney week. I would expect Kidani to be available at least but won't know for sure until we get there.
Book what you can online 1st thing at 7 months. Probably have to call to use the OTUP either way.
You're not wrong but at least they were free...
(The free, no voucher needed ice cream options were a nice bonus)
I am hoping Epcot has a few more healthy and savory snacks available, though.
DVC Fan posted that Epcot opened at 6:30 in January but still waiting for confirmation for March 1...

Not sure it was DVC Fan exactly but seemed related...

It won't let me start a conversation either.
Can you post a few times on the community boards and maybe that will open up the option?
