    Christopher Robin movie plush?

I know right! I wanted one immediately after I watched the movie and imagine I wasn't the only one. Disney dropped the ball on this release, and could have capitalized on the movie release. Looks like I'm waiting 'til October but kids have a shorter attention span; they'll be onto the next...

    How much time at Universal?

Transformers was fun, Simpsons makes me queasy, same with the Mummy because I hate going backwards. My favorite attraction is the Studio tram tour. You can do the park in one day.

    Christopher Robin movie plush?

Went to Disneyland last weekend after watching Christopher Robin the night before and wanted to pick up the Pooh plush based on the movie. All they had was Eeyore (which I got) and Kanga/Roo. They were out of everything else. :( Anyone spot any of these at the parks recently or even at WOD in...

    Question concerning RAW format

No disagreement here. I'm not against the RAW format at all. I use it and definitely enjoy the flexibility it offers. Although, if a casual photographer doesn't know why they should be shooting RAW in the first place then maybe it's best that they stay away from it initially. RAW format will not...

    Question concerning RAW format

How is that a big departure from my original post? They go hand in hand. An inexperienced user who does not know software will probably get worse results than a properly exposed jpeg out of the camera. If you're going to stick a RAW converter to "Auto" then you are defeating the purpose and...

    Question concerning RAW format

No, I don't think I am mistaken at all, I just don't believe that the casual shooter will really find any benefit to shooting RAW. Especially if they are inexperienced with working with RAW files, unless they are willing to spend time learning software and post-processing every photo they take...

    Best burgers outside of disneyland?

The hidden menu. I like my Double Double "Animal style" personally. 4x4 is 4 meat patties and 4 cheese slices. You can make the number anything you want. Care to try an 8x8 or a 16x16? I once had a co-worker get an 8x8 protein style. Disgusting. Cheese was oozing everywhere and the guy ate the...

    Question concerning RAW format

If you're looking to produce results "just as good as in camera jpegs" then why bother? If you're going to set a RAW converter to AUTO then you're actually defeating the whole purpose of shooting in RAW in the first place.

An Example of What RAW Can Do...

Probably the best solution for those without RAW option in camera since most allow you to set a custom white balance. I try to get the best results from the camera before I resort to post processing.

    Question concerning RAW format

If you don't know how to post process RAW files then I'd recommend sticking with jpeg. Also RAW files are larger than jpeg so you better have a powerful computer and extra HD space. RAW, in the hands of an inexperienced user, can create undesirable results as opposed to jpeg. RAW gives more...

Anyone know where Thrifty Icecream is in SD?

Never heard of Thrifty Ice Cream. I'll have to keep an eye our for it the next time I'm at Rite Aid. Would you fans say it is worth making a trip to a Rite Aid just for it?

    Splash Mountain question

They added seat backs as well I believe. I hadn't been to Disneyland in quite a few years until my visit earlier this year and the first thing I noticed was the seat backs. I remember the seat as being one long bench.

Free tickets in the mail?? Anyone else? Is this old news?

Is this the Year of a Million Dreams promotion that is being discussed? I got one a few weeks ago. It is a certificate that is good for "one FREE Adult 1-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket." I don't have any ties to Disney marketing other than the fact that I keep "round filing" their...

Did anyone else get a free DL park hopper for YoaMD?

Anyone redeem these yet? It says to just bring it to the main ticked booth. Anything else I should know? Any cool marketing stuff come with this when I redeem it?

7 Days in LA?!? What to do?? Confused HELP

Since you'll be in the Hollywood area to see the sign, be sure to drop by Pink's for some good hot dogs. I'd plan on spending at least two days visiting Disneyland and Disneyland CA - one day for each. LA has many number of malls to do your shopping. One of the largest is the Del Amo Fashion...

    Disneyland food....went down the tubes!!!

Yep, the Wild Bleu Yonder is my favorite menu item at Taste Pilot. I was at DCA earlier this year and the quality was still good (to me anyway).

Did anyone else get a free DL park hopper for YoaMD?

Sorry they're non-transferrable. You have to show your ID when you collect the pass and the address has to match what's on the invite.
