Going at the beginning of May, does anyone know if we can leave the park and parking for lunch and then return after lunch? Drive to nearby fast food and then go back. Just trying to save on lunch as there will be 5 of us. Or maybe pack a cooler and leave in car?? Any suggestions or ideas?

Costco rentals, does the driver have to be the Costco member? Could you borrow a membership # from a family member to book? Do you need to show Costco card at rental agency? We are not members ourselves but have many family members who are, just wondering if we could use their membership to rent...

Also, to rent through Costco, does the member have to be the drive Right? Do you have to prepay or can you pay the Rent? We are not Costco members but my dad who is traveling with us is but my hubby will be the driver.

Just to clarify, if you stop at a toll and pay cash there is no charge from Alamo, if it is a cashless toll you will pay the cost of the toll plus $3.95. No daily charge at all? I am assuming you pay when you return car? Sorry, all new to us, we don't have toll roads here.

We booked both of our accommodations for cocoa beach and Indian shores beach through vrbo, will try to avoid at all costs staying in a hotel with 2 teens!

We did a day trip a few years ago in the summer to both cocoa beach and to Clearwater beach, both were doable day drives, cocoa beach was an extremely easy drive. My kids were a little older about 14 and 17, they loved it so much we are doing 4 days at cocoa beach and 7 days at Indian shores...
