Scooterbug vs ECV rental at the park

At HS, I know I had my ECV early enough to be eating breakfast at Starbucks while waiting to be allowed to head down to Tower of Terror. That day, I think I got the first ECV.

Scooterbug vs ECV rental at the park

I don’t know if my experiences were one-offs, but I rented in park 4 days of our last trip, and we made early entry every day. I was typically one of the first at the rental places. For me, I really only need the ECV in the parks, and my family likes to Uber at times, so this works best.

Coral Reef nothing for party of 7

There is actually a work around. Make another member of your party the lead guest on the first reservation. I used my adult daughter. I was able to use my credit card to hold the ressie. Then book the second reservation in your name.

Wilderness, Beach Club or Bonnet Creek?

generally, you can do 5 in a regular room in many of the deluxe hotels except wilderness Lodge and Animal kingdom Lodge. I would expect deluxe hotel rooms without CL to be in the $700-900+ range at rack rate. Not sure when you are going, but I plugged in random dates in November on the WDW...

    Keys to the Kingdom Reservations?

It should be 60 days at midnight. Since you’re offsite, you don’t get the +10. If you’re not seeing it, it could be booked, because onsite can do +10.

Narrowed down our TS choices - yay or nay?

For your Hollywood Studios day, I would take the boat over the Epcot resorts and book something at Yavht, Beach, or Boardwalk.. I’ve eaten at all the HS sit-downs, and none are great.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

Inside Dolphin does not have much theming, but it is really magical stepping out onto the walkway between Swan and Dolphin and seeing all of Crescent Lake , resorts , and Epcot. And then HS the other way.

Scooter Rental/Usage at Disney World Questions

I have used a park scooter the last two trips, and I am highly doubtful any scooters will be available late morning. (My family Ubers quite a bit, and I don’t need the scooter outside the parks; hence the in-park rental). I get there right before early entry and have no problems. If you can’t do...

Tiffins gets my vote for one of the best restaurants on property. So good.

    60+10 reservation questions

I booked a tour, MK dessert party and Epcot spice road fireworks dinner package just this morning and 60+10 applied. All three are Enchanted Extras, but booking was a bit different among them. I had both a window open on my laptop and the app open on my iPad. The tour and dessert party were...

Leap Year Confusion - ADR's and BBB

I have the same problem. Checking in to Boardwalk on 4/27, and Disney is saying 2/27. If I count, I come up with 2/26. Also ADRs are 6:00 am online. 7:00 on phone.

    Best Restaurants for picky eaters

My surgeon told me 80% have no issues, the other 20% do. I fall into the 20%. Primary care told me it could take several years to acclimate. I‘m 18 months out. I can eat most things, except the fried/greasy stuff.

    Best Restaurants for picky eaters

Same problem here, no gall bladder. For me it’s fried foods and greasy things (including stews with fatty gravy). At Disney, I am super careful, because who wants issues there? Most places have grilled chicken, which is safe for me. At Rose and Crown, I didn’t think I would tolerate most items...

Are there any Disney resorts with balconies?

Dolphin definitely has balconies as a bookable category. I stayed in one in October. It was “resort view with balcony”, but I could see Epcot fireworks at night. Balcony was not huge, but I think 2 people would just fit. Whether you can get it for $300-$350 is a different question. I booked...
