    Fast passes for 7

We had a party of 9 this last trip and got almost everything we wanted. We didn't get SDD, but we did get FOP twice (two different days). ADRs were much harder. We had a perfect plan booked prior to FPs, then the FPs jacked everything up, and we had to switch park days around. Thankfully we had...

What is there to do away from the pool

I thought so too going into it, which was part of why it was disappointing. I think overall, it didn't help that everything was just so grey....grey water, grey fish, grey structures, grey light in the sub. We also didn't see any other sea creatures - just fish.

What is there to do away from the pool

First, it just felt a little claustrophobic (and I do not suffer at all with claustrophobia), second, the guide did talk an awful lot about the barf bags and how if you are gonna do it make sure to use the bags cause he wasn't going to clean it up. Being in that small space with barfing people...

What is there to do away from the pool

When we went, we did 3 touring days with the rental car around the island and 4 resort days, no car. Had we to do it again, we'd flip it..... so 3 resort days and 4 touring. We aren't sit around a beach or pool people either. We loved most everything we did except the Atlantis submarine...

    Yep, we've never rope dropped....

If you are a party of 9 like we were this last trip, getting FPs same day is no easy feat, which made rope drop pretty important to us. I can see using the heck out of the MDE FP refresh when you are a party of 2.

    Yep, we've never rope dropped....

I'm not a morning person at all but we chose to sleep in on the 4th day of our trip and got to Epcot at 10. Ugh!! Everyone in our party agreed we would be back to waking early for rope drop the next morning...such a huge difference those early hours without the overbearing heat and crowds. We...

    Pandora closed

Yes it did feel like the power went down. When we entered the bay and sat down, the hum died down and all went quiet. We joked that we broke the ride. When they announced for us to come with them I thought they were moving us to another bay. That's when we received instructions to exit quickly...

    Pandora closed

I have to say their customer service is AMAZING! It's our last park day And we are headed to a CRT reservation right now so they gave us fast passes for tomorrow to replace all of our fast passes we were in the process of using, plus switch passes plus park entrance!!!!! Thank God we booked a...

    Pandora closed

Maybe it's too soon? They have employees at the entrances to the land diverting people as we were walking out.

    Pandora closed

Me too. I asked several employees, and they said they knew as much as we did about what happened. (Edited to clarify: when I asked if everyone was ok they said we hope so, we don't have any information yet.) I asked if that is the first time that has ever happened and they said no.

    Pandora closed

I know it's a long shot, but anyone have any knowledge as to why Pandora just closed? We just boarded FOP and had just gotten seated when they announced, "Travelers to the exits quickly." The entire ride was evacuated outdooors followed by the employes. Then the whole land shut down. Craziest...

Any feedback on EEMH at Hollywood Studios? 6am till 9am. What was your experience?

And that makes 3. We are doing the same too (minus the DAH). I hope we don't ALL have the same idea!! That is IF we can make it up on the 26th....our bodies will still be on Pacific time so it will be like waking at 2 am and simultaneously dealing with jet lag after a long day of travel on the...

    How bad is Standard View?

We booked a standard room, and got one on the 3rd floor. The view was total greenery like being in a treehouse and looking out the window. We saw trunks and leaves. That's all. There was an overpowering chemical smell in the room like someone had unleashed 5 full bottles of Febreeze. It was...

How do you end your last night in the parks?

Character meal then fireworks sounds like a great idea! I'd have to work on ADR refreshing (our party is 9!!!) Just checked - nothing but the easy to get stuff without characters, but that is something to consider!

suggestions for an only trip to Hawaii

We've only been to Ohau/Aulani, but your list looks almost perfect. We did so many of those things, and I think your list comprises the best of Ohau. I can recommend doing Kualoa Ranch on your first day. We took the Jungle Expedition tour and the flora and fauna just blew us away...the wonder...

How do you end your last night in the parks?

Do you (or anyone) know if you can also see the MNSSHP fireworks from the Poly? Even if so, you can't hear the music, right?

It’s Disney, Four Hours of Sleep is Normal! Mother Daughter 2018 F&W TR! (Updated 9/22!)

What a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon with nothing to do- reading all of your trip reports!!! You and your mom have so much fun, and I loved seeing a different way of touring than we usually do, considering we always go with small kids and plenty of extended family. I got a glimpse of what...

How do you end your last night in the parks?

Any traditions out there? What do you like to do last? Trying to get some ideas, especially since we don't plan to be back for a few years Does anyone else feel so bummed walking out of Disney on the last night of the trip????? We have park hoppers and our last night is a party night at MK -...

Does anyone know anything about Epcot Forever?

That is exactly what I was thinking, and is helpful advice - an interim show is likely not going to be great and we don't love the majority of those shows to start with. This is planned to be our last trip for probably 3 or so years and it would be such a bummer to be walking out of the Disney...

Does anyone know anything about Epcot Forever?

We will be in Disney for the end of Illuminations and first showing of Epcot forever and are wondering if it's worth park hopping to Epcot on our very last night just to see it. I really don't want to leave Disney with our last thing being something that is "meh". We love all things Disney...
