When renewing can we upgrade?

Is there a separate entrance to DCA from this resort instead of the main entrance? If so, where is it?

First time going to DL and staying at Disney's Grand Californian. Will be visiting the parks on Thursday-Sat (3 days) July 20-22. Thinking 2 days at DL and 1 at DCA. Do you think we'll be able to see mostly everything? Any tips appreciated. thanks!

First trip to Disneyland and staying at GCH for the first time! Excited and can't wait. I have a lot of threads to read but do we have access to both park entrances from the hotel? Any other tips are appreciated for a first timer. Thanks.

Is it true you can only book Disney Hotel, theme park tickets and park reservations 4 months out? If so what are my chances of getting park reservations for July 21-22, 2023? I'm a Disney World pro and look forward very much to visiting DL!

They simply will know exactly how many guests will be going to each park to better staff

You can go up to the outdoor terrace without a reservation but not allowed to bring food or drink up there. We were just there last week. I believe you can only go there when restaurant is open.

We were there 10/25-10/31. Did not use Genie+. Take advantage, if staying on property, the 30 minutes the parks open early and hit 1 or 2 headline attractions practically walk on. We only purchased 1 LL (for Rise) because we rope dropped Slinky which was a walk on. Also if DVC/staying Deluxe...

What did it for me was when Disney announced ending ME service. Not only having to pay to get to my resort, AP's went up with less perks, and of course "FP" costs money now if you don't want to wait in standby. You know the $15 will eventually go up like everything else. My...

THIS is what Disney should be doing. Still give 3 free and options to purchase more. this would make most people including me happy.

I guess it's time to do Disney old school style again! Go early and stay late for minimal waits (hopefully). Sorry but I'm not paying for "fastpass"

Not if they closed at 9 or 930. Closing at 6 is pretty sad for the beginning of July when I'll be there. I rather have them open at 10 just to stay open later
