    Friends and family question

Cast Discounts do work at Disneyland. Have him check the hub under discounts for the hotel prices, once he books it (with his card or yous) there is an email that he can send his perner, name, hotel and dates and they'll email him back a hotel voucher. I don't have the email on hand but he can...

previous vacation now accepted to program??

He can stay with you at the hotel, I stayed at Yacht and Beach and just took the boat over to Studios for work when my parents were visiting once, you just have to wear regular clothes until you get to costuming. The time off is hit or miss, most CPs get 2 days off a week but they are the first...

CRP / Cast member - Ticketed Special Events

They usually start selling discounted tickets to cast once it gets closer or they're not selling enough. They did for the last one but for the next one in May I haven't seen any discounts yet.

    DCP Spring Advantages Days Off

There is no guarantee, if you for sure want to have off I'd only do the Spring. PT and FT put in for days off in January, CPs can put in for days off once they have access to the hub, but there is a chance those days are already filled and you'd be on a waitlist. You could talk to your area...

Completed 3 DCPs-now wants to work for the Mouse!

If it's not listed on the site they're most likely just not hiring for that position. Especially since the new CPs just rolled in for the new year. I transferred to PT after my second program so I don't have a lot of information or tips for getting a job outside of a transfer. However, he might...

    Second Program

There isn't really an answer, it just depends. I would think it would be easier since you have the knowledge you need. I did a program in 2013 and did a program in the spring of 2016 after I graduated. It was a lot more stressful applying (interview was easier) and it took me longer to find out...

Can we meet Stitch in the Park?

Stitch no longer meets at the flagpole at the main entrance, Chip and Dale have moved there. Stitch now meets near the face painting area beside space mountain. You can also meet Doc at Rafiki's Planet Watch but not sure of the times.

Telling Our Parents at Disney World

I saw a family take a group photo altogether, the couple went separately and took off the small shirt they had over the top of their other shirt that had the little mickey ears on the belly. They continued to take photos and it took the family a full minute of watching them before they realized...

    College Program Parents Thread...

Answered above, but right now Disney is looking to hire for multiple positions so if he can find an apartment and get in for an interview, the benefits are better for PT/FT than CPs. As for the comments above, it just depends on the kid. I was 20, one of my roommates was 18 on our first...

    American cinema question.

6pm is the start for trailers, they have small ads if you seat before 6pm. The trailers usually run 10-15 minutes depending.

    College Program Parents Thread...

To answer a few questions above. Definitely have your DD check out jobs at Universal, my friend didn't get extended past her CP last Spring and was hired at Universal within a month. She can also check on 3rd parties at Disney Springs like Splitsville. Then in 6 months apply for a random job...

College Program Questions Thread, Pt 4

For the WDW program, yes. I can't be 100% sure on the Disneyland one but I would assume so. Make sure you check with your advisers when/if you do get accepted, about scholarships. On my first program I had to remain a FT student every semester to keep all my university scholarships and wasn't...

    DCP Work Location

As everyone above mentioned, it could go anyway. My two programs, I specifically requested Backlands at Studios and then Epcot (particularly Mousegear but never stated that) and I was placed in both. However, I was also wanting photopass and I pushed it really hard and could never get it. As...

Everything about PhotoPass and Memory Maker.

Technically they are called view stations. The only one at MK is at Town Square Theater where Mickey and Tinkerbell meet. Right now Hollywood Studios is at Sid Cahuenga's (left side when you enter the park by Donald M&G) because their old store is being refurbed. The one at AK is on the left...

Everything about PhotoPass and Memory Maker.

Yes to the first! You can add them to your account yourself, but if you don't really want a lot of other people's pictures, it's an option. And yes, they're the stores at each of the parks to view your photos.

Everything about PhotoPass and Memory Maker.

Just to add, it's impossible to separate all the families at events like Jedi training, Belle, or Pirates since it's a large group and only one photographer, hence the cards. Take any of those cards into the view stations at each park and the photographer will load all the photos, have you pick...

    Printing 4x6 photos on property

If you have Memory maker, photopass prints at each of the store stations in the parks run at $0.99 for 2 sets of 4x6s, $1.99 for 5x7s, and $3.99 for 8x10s. Let the photographer know that you have memory maker and you must have the account attached to your MDE app for you to get the discount...

Photopass and Memory Maker - our experience

At MK there is a photographer beside Merida on the bridge to fantasyland, one at tomorrowland bridge, and they were testing photos at each of the castle turrets and right in front of the castle. There is also a photo spot at the liberty square bridge towards the castle, and one at Ariel's...

    Moana Meet and greet

She's still there, still the same place. Her line is usually around 30 minutes but the wait is typically less than that.

Opinions please! College and Working at Disney

When you apply and get hired on for PT you can specify your availability. I believe PT has to have at least 2 days a week and those are the only days they are allowed to schedule you. Preferences depend on the role, but the days should always be the same. So yes, it's doable, a lot of my friends...
