Using ‘legs up’ style products on Virgin Atlantic?

We’re flying in two weeks with our 22 month old and I am debating buying one of those inflatable footrests for her to be able to lie flat to sleep. I very nearly bought a ‘Fly legs up’ hammock until I found on the virgin website that they are prohibited, along with many other branded products...

    Virgin's new 3 tier economy..

Ooh this does not sound good, I understand why they're put off! Our Virgin flight has had about 5 time changes since booking in August but oddly, the time changes have all been within an hour of each other. I guess they just can't decide wheat time they want to fly?!

    Virgin's new 3 tier economy..

Norweigan seem to be the way forward for Florida flights. Their planes are new, service brilliant (IMO) and flights reasonably priced compared to others.

    Gatwick South Terminal Children's Area

Hi, Does anyone have any pictures/knowledge of children's areas in Gatwick south terminal? We've got a 22 month old who will need to let off steam before we board our flight and I've heard the children's area has recently been updated and may now have soft play?! Thanks!

    Buying Memory Maker without tickets

Hi everyone, We're going to WDW in April and are fortunate enough to have friends who are cast members who will be giving us access to the parks. I would like to purchase memory maker in advance (as its cheaper than buying on site) however as we do not have tickets to link it to, I'm not sure...

    Virgin Flying Club Miles

For those who have used miles to book flights via Atlanta or NY, could you use miles to pay for the whole flight, including onward connection to Orlando? How did you book these on the Virgin website? I have over 95000 miles which I've been saving to use for our flights in April and am having the...

Long haul flight & WDW with 22 month old

Thank you all for your replies, it's really helpful to hear your thoughts. I think the hardest thing at the moment is not knowing what our DD will be like when she's 22 months old (she's just turned one so it's a fair way off yet!). At the moment she is a VERY active child and is really curious...

Long haul flight & WDW with 22 month old

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice for a 10-14 day trip I'm planning next April (2018) with my DH and DD (22 months at time of travel). We're from the U.K. And will be taking a 9 hour flight to get to Florida. I'm a long time Disney lover, have been to WDW more times than I can count...

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Thank you, we really enjoyed the trip! One day I will return to finish the report and upload the missing photos. I've got a 9 week old baby so don't have a lot of (actually, any) free time!!!

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Saturday 28th March - Part Two We drove around the coast stopping briefly at various scenic points as and when we could. We got to the piece of land offshore which looks like a rabbit (I can’t recall the name) but the parking lot was full so I stayed in the car whilst DH hopped out to take a...

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Saturday 28th March - Part One Having experienced two wonderful days at Aulani we thought we had better venture a little further afield! Originally, I had planned to spend our first two days on the island touring around and finish the trip with our last days at the resort. However I discovered...

Has anyone done a transatlantic cruise?

Hey GatorMom! We flew out with Jet Blue to Orlando I think our flight was around 11.45am ish?! The DVC sales rep guy was on our flight, we bumped into him in the airport at San Juan and then saw him sitting behind us! Ah thanks for clarifying re. Guardians of the Galaxy. I know it was pretty...

Has anyone done a transatlantic cruise?

My friend and I were on the WBTA in September 2014 and it was spectacular. So much so that anything less than 14 nights just doesn't seem enough to us now! Our itinerary was great, we started in Barcelona and stopped at Malaga (Spain), Tenerife, 5 (I think) days crossing the Atlantic and then...

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Friday 27th March - Part Two After our snorkel it was pretty much time for my massage so we walked over to the elevator tower. DH went back up to the room to nap/relax and probably watch some TV, whilst I went ahead to the spa. I knew I wanted to arrive a little early to enjoy the spa garden...

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Friday 27th March - Part One We awoke this morning feeling relaxed and refreshed. The whole time we were at Aulani we both just felt so at ease and comfortable, we both thoroughly enjoyed being there. We had plans for breakfast at Ama Ama this morning so we got up and out at a leisurely pace...

Honeymooning in Hawaii: Aulani & Beyond

Thursday 26th March Our first full day at Aulani! This morning we woke early and decided to take advantage of the fact that most people would still be in bed. We got ourselves dressed in our swimwear and headed out to explore the pools. We picked up our towels and wrist bands at the stand by...

    Souvenir water bottle?

I ordered two in 2014 for the transatlantic cruise. They were great, we used hen all the time! They hold a lot more than the drinks cups supplied at the drink fountains. They have a spout so you tip them up to drink but we grabbed straws from the drink station and they fit. You just couldn't...

DCL Summer 2017 Megathread - Itineraries are out!

Is anyone from the UK able to see the new dates on the DCL website yet? I was hoping to see the new dates this morning at 5.01am (12.01am EST) but no luck. I guess we will have to wait until 1.00pm (8.00am EST). I can't believe how much these prices have gone up...I think I may now be priced out...
