We will be there 9/7-9/15 split stay between Beach Club Villas and Grand Floridian Villas - 4 nights each. We have stayed at BCV many times but this is our first time using the GFV points since we bought them 4 years ago. we are super excited.

Thanks for the heads up, i always worry about this. DH teases about saving all those emails but you never know.

When we get the dining plan we always end up using our snack credits on water. Usually like you because we forgot to grab water from our case out of the fridge. somehow we still end up with snack credits to get something for the nieces and nephews on our way out.

I think out of the 5 or 6 times we have eaten there we only made a reservation once. Its been a while but i know you used to be able to eat outside too in the court yard area. if the weather is cooperative when you go, it really is nice eating out there.

i tried to make it also and though it was good, it was not as DH likes to say "Disney good" :)

I would definitely try to get there as close to 8:00 as possible so you can get a good seat. Me and DH like to sit right up front, makes it so much more fun. as for where to eat you have sooo many options, i didnt care for Big River (dh said its better than our first time there, i didnt like...

LOL, DH and I have never really cared for their QS options. usually for a quick breakfast we walk over to Beach Club.

they sell cigarettes, lighters etc in all (that i know of) resort gift shops. nothing in the parks though. i should mention though when i have purchased them because we ran out i believe it was almost $13 a pack.

i have two, both my own family.... we took my brother, his wife (both less mature than their son) and my nephew a few years ago as a gift, we were in line at EE and the whole time leading up to loading my brother was trying to convince my nephew that he would love it (nephew was 9 at the time...

we took a taxi in february and they dropped us off at a hotel across the street. Not doing that again. :)

DH and I love BC and BW if we are not able to book there we usually pick the Swan over the dolphin. we tried to Dolphin once but it just was not as "nice" as the swan (i dont remember why it was 6 years ago, i just remember thinking never again). we actually just stayed at the swan in February...

DH and I usually walk over from BW if we are not already at BC (we prefer their breakfast options).

DH and I love ESPN, it is usually a 1st day lunch for us if we are at BWV or BCV. and their Pom Margarita is my fav. I know, food. The food is good too. We just had some cheesecake desert in february that came with DDP and no one wanted but after we each sampled a taste we ordered another...

Used to be a must do for us, but we are in agreement that it is not worth the money or the 2 TS credits. We have been to Shulas and LOVED it and although expensive was absolutely worth the money.
