    Next Batch of Cruises

We did the 10 night July cruise in 2023 and booked for 2024. Also watching. I’m thinking it might be the Dream doing it. That cruise is so expensive, but add treasure to it and it will be crazy expensive. im On a cruise in March, so hoping im not in the middle of the ocean during the...

Can member check in people for Moonlight Magic but not attend?

Yes dca does it differently. At WDW, the CM puts the wristband on the guest all at the same time.

‘Flordia Special’ 1 bedroom villas at Bay Lake Tower

Thanks. Most of this I’m doing. Short hair, lots of hats. Baby wipes help too. I do plan to call as soon as I see the doctor the week before. I will be at week 8 so it could happen. I purchased a rubber shower mat for the trip. Good to read your message and know you understand first...

‘Flordia Special’ 1 bedroom villas at Bay Lake Tower

I actually was going to contact the professional repair person on duty at the resort to do it. Though my husband is a contractor and could do it. I also wondered about the showers in the gym too. I will call the resort or MS when I know for sure.

‘Flordia Special’ 1 bedroom villas at Bay Lake Tower

I was wondering about bringing my own hand held shower attachment. I won’t know until one week before our trip. Broken dominate arm and fractured shoulder-2 places in a brace strapped around my chest that can’t get wet. Hoping it comes off prior, but the healing is slower than expected...

Can member check in people for Moonlight Magic but not attend?

No. The member has to attend. I went through this, but remembered to put my daughter as the lead. She’s one owner. I wasn’t sure I could go. Seems like it will be the member and 4 guests in your case.

U.S. Embassy issues Security Alert for NASSAU

I agree. They often do 3 nights with no Nassau stop too.

    Walking a reservation

The only thing about walking is you have to get in and it’s nearly impossible now. I need a reservation for 5 days from now and tried to get in a couple days early and I can’t. I have a broken right arm so left with my lefty. So slightly slower. I’m going to have to go with the pickup...

Disney Dream - Category 8A (not with partition) or Category 4B?

That’s a good plan too. However, you still need to sign the permission form. You only do it once when you board. the child is connected to the adult in the same room. it Sounds a little complicated, but it isn’t. My cruise in July, my daughter & SiL got covid! So I had to become the...

Disney Dream - Category 8A (not with partition) or Category 4B?

I'm booked on 5020 and 5022 for our March cruise. We are with daughter, SIL, granddaughters 18 & 16. We get the 18 year old. 😂. We done the deck 6, so this is our first time on deck 5.

Disney Dream - Category 8A (not with partition) or Category 4B?

Hope I understand. Yes you can add one person To your parents room. Did you check to see if the deck 5 room is available for 3 guests? add the older child to parents, but they become the guardian and will have to sign permission forms to give you permission to take kiddo off the ship. I’d...

    Guarantee Status vs. IGT/OGT/VGT

always watching, but I’ve not seen a good Vgt rate in a long time. Not a Fl resident, nor military. Guess the ships are getting filled now. i Still love watching what rooms get assigned. I do book my cruises on opening day Still, but love a last minute bargain.

Disney Dream - Category 8A (not with partition) or Category 4B?

I’m confused, if you book 4B are you booking TWO rooms? unless you are or you’re connecting to someone else it shouldn't matter. I’ve been in both rooms and the 8A has more than double the floor space than the 4B. It’s just very open. You wouldn’t qualify for the deck 5 room with half wall...

Disney Dream - Category 8A (not with partition) or Category 4B?

if you want extra room, go with the 8A. However, only 2 on deck 6 have bathtubs and the 2 on deck 5 with no partitions don’t have tubs either. With little ones, that may be important. My daughter likes these rooms because she travels with her teenagers and she doesn’t feel cramped. She’s...

July 25th, 2024 - 10-Night Southern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral (St John's, Castries, Roseau, Tortola, Lighthouse Point, Castaway Cay)

Also on this cruise. We did the 10 night last year too, so was eager to book this one. We booked opening day, so almost a year ago, March. We do belong to the FB group too. This cruise is sold out, though a room might pop up occasionally. Last year we booked on a Vgt, but this year it...

7 Day Treasure vs. Back To Back Wish

I'm hearing the Fantasy is moving to Fort Lauderdale. I hope we find out soon. I’m ready to see the next release. Hoping it’s not while I’m on my March cruise.

7 Day Treasure vs. Back To Back Wish

I’m struggling with this issue too. Been on many b2b cruises and mostly 7+ night cruises all on the fantasy. I’m booked on the 7 night treasure next April, but leaning to a b2b on the fantasy. It’s a 4/3 and the last 2 cruises out of PC before she leaves. While I’d like to try the treasure...

Disney Cruise Line Updates Castaway Club Membership Requirements

I can see how this affects different people. My grandson and wife cruised late 2019 first time, then covid hit. Just as they were thinking of cruising again this year, they are now expecting their first baby next summer. So cruising is not possible for them, plus the 6 months after birth...
