Anyone else planning a 2020 trip home?

We have finally settled on April 2020. It’ll be our first spring break trip which isn’t our first choice but it’s the easiest to work around everyone’s schedules. Our favorite friends are coming with us and they are all WDW first timers. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!!! Hurry up 2019...

Here are the Epcot Resort Area Counter Service Options (BW/YC/BC)

We normally stay at Pop but I keep trying to talk myself into paying the extra dough for a deluxe. BC and Poly are at the top of my list and the limited QS options at BC is what holds me back from making the leap. I like the QS variety at the Pop food court. Especially when on arrival day, we...

Do we really need to bring food/ snacks?

We are within fairly close driving distance so we are able to pack some snacks. I'm not a big fan of eating a large breakfast, at home or at Disney, so I bring protein bars to eat on the way to the bus in the morning. My kids are younger so they are fine with a granola bar, nutrigrain bar, or...

    Pop Century Room Renovations

I haven't stayed in All Star resorts in the last 15ish years. We may have to make the move if the refurbed Pop rooms don't change much from the mock up. I don't love that All Star resorts share buses and I'm looking into the moderate resorts. I love Pop and I'm hoping that they won't be as...

    Pop Century Room Renovations

I agree! We are currently planning a trip for April 2018 and I am pretty upset with this layout. I want two real beds! I don't like the layout of AoA and that is why I choose not to stay there. I don't care for the moderate resorts and the deluxe resorts are too expensive for our taste.

POLL: How do you feel about resort rooms without carpets?

I'm not a fan of the 1 bed and murphy bed. We usually split kids, one kid sleeps with mom, one kid sleeps with dad. Pop has always been my favorite resort but I won't stay in this room, if it comes to fruition.

POLL: How do you feel about resort rooms without carpets?

:sad2::guilty: Hospital chic... love it. :sad2: :guilty: Ugh. Don't ruin my favorite resort.

    Golf Help Needed!

Thanks for all of the suggestions! He has played most of the Disney courses before and I mentioned the deal at Oak Trail but he didn't seem interested. We've googled but sometimes it is hard to judge the quality of the course online. I was hoping that maybe someone had played somewhere and...

    Golf Help Needed!

I need some help from the DIS Dads. DH and my dad want to golf during our trip in 2 weeks. DH has golfed several of the courses in WDW but we are trying to find something that will be a little more budget friendly off property. The WDW courses are $120 per person for the day they are looking...

Would you pull your kids out of school for a Disney vacation?

I'm a teacher and my kids go to school with me. I am taking them out for a trip in two weeks. I knew that they would not have any major testing on the week that we planned and they are both high performing students so I am not terribly worried about them missing three days. My principal did...

Wish They Had A New Dining Plan

It's my own (and the OP's) wishful thinking. I don't need to price it out on what I think it would be worth. Just because I don't care for the set up of the current dining plan doesn't mean I can't dream of how I wish it actually was set up so that it worked better for my family. But I...

Wish They Had A New Dining Plan

I agree! I don't understand why, if I want to eat three meals a day, I HAVE to get the deluxe plan, use my only snack credit for a meal, or pay OOP for an additional meal. We've done deluxe for that very reason but it was just entirely too much food. We don't really need an appetizer and...

    Questions about Ohana

Crystal Palace has a great breakfast buffet but the only characters there are Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. Not sure if you are looking specifically for Mickey. We love O'hana for both breakfast and dinner. I didn't think that the breakfast was really carb heavy. I ate mostly fruit...

    January 2015....Let the planning begin!

Hey y'all! I am in the beginning stages of planning our next trip in late January 2015. This will be our first trip since December 2010 and I am super excited :yay::yay::yay: I made a pre-planning document to organize my ideas for this trip. We will be staying at POP and we are so excited...

    Anyone planning for 2015?

We are hoping for a late January/early February trip for next year. I've started my pre-planning sheet :surfweb: but man oh man the WDW website is NOT making it easy to get info. Everytime I click on something I get a "server busy" error message :headache: I've already figured out my...

    Baby wearing parents: Which carrier/wrap?

As a plus sized mom, I had a hard time finding something that would be large enough and comfortable for both of us. I ended up with a Moby and I loved it!! My younger son was a high needs baby and wanted to be held constantly. As much as I loved snuggling with him, I still had other things to...

*2012 DATES/RESORTS* Post your trip dates here!

We will be going to celebrate my college graduation sometime around mid-late May (13th-31st to be exact). Most likely staying at Pop Century but our dates and resort depends on what discounts are available during that time frame! This will also be our first adults only trip!!

Would you take a baby that's 13 months to Disney?

We have, twice actually! We took our oldest when he was 14 months, with my parents. We all had a wonderful time, even the grandparents :scared1: There were often times my mom or brother did not want to ride so DS stayed with them while we rode. See... he really did have fun (and he isn't...
