It depends on what you are booking. There are rides that need to be booked at 7am, or they could be gone for the day (i.e. Slinky Dog Dash in DHS or Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot). Other rides don't need to be booked until much later.

That is your dilemma. If you want to be able to see fireworks, than you will have to plan for a non-party day as your Magic Kingdom day. Those days do tend to be more crowded. If you don't care about missing fireworks, party days truly are great for lower crowds. Each family will have different...

We've been lucky to go to other AP previews over Memorial day weekend, so I think I was kind of hoping for the same in this case. By all accounts on this thread, however, it doesn't look likely. I will still keep watch just in case!!!
