Observations from our 4-Night Wish cruise 4/8-4/12

Is Meible on the Wish?!?! She is our absolute favorite! We've only had her as an assistant server once but we always find her to say hi when she is on our ship.

    Remember these? (Animators Palette)

That's adorable! I have a couple of the little paintbrush spreaders, and I bought the Sugarboo & Co. watercolor palette serving tray to go with them. That little plate would fit right in!

Explain this to me like I’m a 5 year old, please

I haven't read the whole thread, but... get the contact information of a reputable travel advisor who is local to you and specializes in Disney destinations. (Local and specializing in Disney are important here - choosing a discount booking site like Costco or a local TA who doesn't regularly...

    Next Batch of Cruises

This would be great! However, I think it's very difficult to get port time in Seward, and Whittier is exclusively Princess/HAL with the occasional small ship.

    Favorite Cruise Directors

I really miss the Club Host role, and Jo in particular. We really enjoyed her on our first two sailings on the Wonder. Having a consistent person at so many of those events really added something to a cruise!

    Favorite Cruise Directors

Ashley is our absolute favorite. Our daughter loves her!

    Next Batch of Cruises

They might offer that itinerary out of Fort Lauderdale instead of PC and use whatever ship is in FLL for the summer.

Disney Cruise Line Updates Castaway Club Membership Requirements

Yes, for sure. And probably to avoid people who cruised as children and then don't sail during college and their twenties getting CC "benefits."

Silly question, son still struggles with bedwetting?

This is the medication that worked wonders for my kiddo!

Silly question, son still struggles with bedwetting?

My kiddo was an always nighttime bedwetter until almost 9 when she actually started a medication for it. We took big kids Goodnights with us on vacations.

Why did Disney Destroy the Magic & Wonder?

I think this has to be it. Spend a lot of time online maligning the Magic and Wonder and voila, lower demand = lower pricing and lower crowds for them! 😂

    Resort days before cruise?

I love your plan and would 100% go for it! I'd choose a resort with great pools and recreation (such as AKL or Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk) or something close to Disney Springs.

Help me choose which ship for first sailing

A longer sailing generally provides a better chance to really lean into cruising, so I'd recommend 5-7 nights for a first sailing. If the Wish doesn't have anything that long, I'd seriously consider the Treasure or going to Fort Lauderdale for a 5-night sailing on another ship. I also have an...

Why did Disney Destroy the Magic & Wonder?

    Definitely a clickbait vibe.

    Everything Galveston

We did an Uber/Lyft to the Hilton Galveston Island in 2017, then used the hotel shuttle to get to the port.

    Dream vs Wonder Questions

I feel the same about the Wonder! She's our home ship. OP, you will love the Wonder!

Travel Agency Perks: What is Normal?

The point of booking with an experienced travel agent who specializes in Disney Destinations and Disney Cruise Line is to utilize their knowledge, expertise, training, and supplier relationships to help you plan your vacation. Many travel agencies, especially high-volume or online only...

    DCL or another line?

If your main criteria is having a lot for the kids to do, it's definitely worth looking at RCCL. If other more "Disney"elements (such as the Disney characters, Disney's stage shows, Disney's specific brand of service, etc.) are more important, then stick with DCL.

    Tricky requirements ?

It sounds like your group might be happier with a Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ship. I'm not sure if they have one in the med during your school holidays, but you could check! Reach out to a travel advisor with your wish list and they will be happy to help you find the best option.

Has anyone dropped off a child alone at the kids club?

Our only child has loved the kids clubs at ages 5, 7, and 9. She is very social and would also time her visits around scheduled activities.
