Help! Looking for New Dad Jokes

It's not a dad bod; it's a father figure. My wife said I should do lunges to stay in shape. That would be a big step forward. I thought the dryer was shrinking my clothes. It turns out it was the refrigerator all along.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Stayed from August 25 through Sept. 1 at CR. Spent 4 days at MK, 2 at HS, 1 at AK, and 1 at EP. Masks were tough for DW and my oldest DS in the 100+ Real-Feel heat. The other DS, DD, and I thrive in hot weather so it was bearable just to be able to be back in WDW. Mask compliance was 99 %...

    Resort Change by Disney

Yes, we booked through a TA. Our agent emailed us after the Poly closure announcement. She emailed us the following day to say that WDW was moving us to CR. It showed up shortly thereafter on MDX.

    Resort Change by Disney

Originally booked for BC, was moved to Poly, and they just switched us to CR tower yesterday. No price changes. We were really looking forward to Poly, but have never stayed at CR, so it's a nice consolation prize.

    August 2020 Reservations-still going?

Still going end of August. First vacation this year. Been working alternating 12 hour shifts with the wife away from home, in separate public service and hospital ICU careers, while learning to become a teacher of our three kids when their schools shut down. Not worried about Covid. Minus...

Cheapness In Seattle (A 2019 PNW Trip Report - 2020 update added on 6/25

LE/policing in Phila. Poor career choice, I know. Twenty-five years in, a wife, three kids, and a mortgage later, so no career change.😀 Nonetheless, we will we need to go somewhere this summer! Although, I'd really love a family picture at Zion with masks on. Drexel is an excellent school...

Cheapness In Seattle (A 2019 PNW Trip Report - 2020 update added on 6/25

Awesome report! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures. It looks like our West Coast National Park trip is out. My wife and I are in the thick of it (in nursing and LE in Phila), so we know there are people going through much, much worse situations. Our vacations are our escape from...

That is the Philly Special. Great update. Although, I'm not quarantined because of my poor career choice, it is uplifting to read after returning to a home full of cabin-fevered teens and pre-teens.

Cheapness In Seattle (A 2019 PNW Trip Report - 2020 update added on 6/25

Great first day! Olympic is pretty aptly-named. Majestic views. And glad you were able to discover the secret commode of bears. Does Sasquatch use that also? You are a family of true Phillies fans. Sporting the gear even after they began their second monumental slide in two years. :sail...

Don't forget George Thorogood, Caesar Rodney, and Dr. Henry Heimlich. Take pride in the fact that a native son developed a maneuver which forces one to regurgitate chunks of food to everyone's delight. Looking forward to the report as my family of five stumbles through planning our first trip...

Thank you! And I'm sorry. I am not a Delaweenie. I meant to say, We're just up north from you (who is in the first state), in the second state, in the city where it all began officially (Philadelphia). The trip reports are awesome. Now, we just have to figure out when we can get a spot at a...

Just started following along in the past few weeks. Outstanding reports and a joy to read. We're just up north from you in the first state, in the city where it all began officially. We have done WDW our fair share of times. Frankly, I am Disneyed-out, and with one starting Catholic High...
