Where to stay for one day at Flower & Garden Festival

Thanks for all this feedback. I still have not made a choice and my options are pretty limited. Almost all the deluxes are sold out, except AKL which isn't super practical for an Epcot visit. Swan and Dolphin are over $400/night for our date in mid-May. I'm thinking CSR, POFQ or an OKW studio...

Where to stay for one day at Flower & Garden Festival

My husband and I will be visiting his family in Tampa/Clearwater in May. We just learned that our flights have been changed, giving us an extra full day in FL. We thought we would spend Wednesday at WDW rather than in Clearwater, go to F&G at Epcot and then drive back to the Tampa airport on...

Anyone else watching the news for that freak Epstein's Creeper List?

These are the flight logs with passenger lists, but they were released years ago. I have a degree in journalism and love the occasional document dive, so I read them. I did see the name of someone to whom I was once introduced, but can’t comment on his reason for being there. It may have been...

Anyone else watching the news for that freak Epstein's Creeper List?

Anyone who was there to exploit young girls needs to be arrested, tried and jailed. But, keep in mind that Epstein also was involved in philanthropy, finance and science, so some of the people on that list may have actually not known who they were dealing with. John Glenn was on the Epstein...

Pacing: Park hopper or 3 day pass?

Thanks, everyone. Three day non-hopper passes sound like the best solution. Appreciate all your feedback.

My Cruise Parter May Cancel on Me

If you purchased trip insurance for both of you, they should be able to refund her airfare if she provides documentation of her mother’s illness.Typically, the stateroom costs the same for one guest as for two, so that price won’t change. Another option would be to contact DCL and see if the...

Pacing: Park hopper or 3 day pass?

My family and I are visiting WDW for four nights my 60th birthday. (I’m actually turning 61, but my 60th involved severe food poisoning in Mexico, so this is a do-over.) We’re arriving Friday night, doing one night at a good neighbor hotel and then checking into the WL for three nights. On our...

Rides too rough for heart patient

I think he should ask his doctor, but also maybe watch some youtube videos of the rollercoasters to see how wild they are. His doctor may approve some rollercoasters but not others.

    Newbie Here

Welcome! Don’t worry. It’s hard to get things wrong here. There are plenty of neurodiverse folks on these boards. I’ve read about so many adults getting a late diagnosis and having a major AHA moment. So glad for you! As for your trip, our family goes to Walt Disney World in FL more often...

Best MK resort to watch fireworks from?

We love to watch from the dock at the GF. I don’t know of anyplace but the CG that offers a view and a soundtrack.

    Grand Floridian in September?

That’s a great time to stay at the GF. The deals are good and the crowds are low. We’ve gotten very reasonable prices at the GF in September without there being any construction. I wouldn’t worry,

What are your all-time top favorite Disney resorts?

    1. GF We love the theming, the location, the landscaping, the restaurants and the wonderful CMs. The lobby is beautiful and the transportation options are excellent. We love watching the electrical water pageant and the fireworks from the dock. 2. AKL This resort is so unique. I could watch the...

Need Resort Recommendations for a Father Son Trip

I can’t speak to all levels, but I think for introverts with a generous budget, an AKL savannah room is the way to go. You can spend the down time on your balcony, watching the animals and there’s lots to do at the resort. Otherwise, I would suggest the Boardwalk Inn because the location is so...

    Boardwalk, Polynesian, or SS?

I would say Boardwalk. It’s a great location for DHS and Epcot and the theming is great. We really like the pool and being able to walk right out to the Boardwalk. I have stayed at the Poly twice and don’t love it. It always feels too small and dark to me. The landscaping is lovely, though.

    Help me pick a hotel!!

GF all the way! We had a theme park view room there and it was incredible. We could watch the fireworks at night from our balcony. I’ve also stayed at the Poly, but I don’t love the theming and the upper level where the restaurants are feels like a mall to me. I also prefer the restaurants at...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Well, I'm just going on what I read on the WDW website which wasn't very specific. We were thinking villa side but aren't sure. What are the dates you've heard floating around? Thanks.
