Halloween at HNY Art of Marvel - Pre-trippie

Ms Poppins, you're still here! Always loved your trip reports 👍 We're going back mid-November for the first time since covid struck so will enjoy reading your report beforehand :)

Davey Crockett has NO shuttle to the parks?

And it's an awesome place to stay if you've driven to DLP and want to take full advantage of the local supermarché, self-catering, etc. 👍

    Walt Disney Studio Parks food

I can confirm the french fries from the trailer next to the ToT are very good, and great value (at least they were when we last visited pre-pandemic!).

All my masks are packed....I am ready to go

Yes, have a magical trip under the circumstances, and share a little trip report with us when you're back if you have time!

    Meal recommendations

For counter service I'd recommend the chicken strips and fries at Hakuna Matata. And if you've left the park, and are looking for somewhere in the village, the buffet at Billy Bobs is very good: BILLY BOB'S, Marne-la-Vallee - Restaurant Reviews, Photos & Phone Number - Tripadvisor

    Delayed 2021 Reopening

Booked for end of August, so hoping for some pixiedust: but if it doesn't come off will be happy to postpone for a Christmas break instead.

Campervan or Car Parking - VW California or Mercedes Marco Polo

Hi, we've always visited with a 7 seater van (with roof box), and parking has always been free for us a AP/hotel pass holders. Even camping overnight was free (not that we ever did), although it looks like there's a small charge now: A €10 surcharge per day is required for Disney Campsite car...

    Newport Bay tips?

Thanks, we're going on the 25th, and the phone's were always answered immediately :)

    Newport Bay tips?

So if anyone find themselves in a similar position, best advice is to just keep checking the website, as opposed to phoning. I checked the website routinely, and saw availability come and go very quickly once over the weekend when the call centre was closed. However, there was availability...

    Newport Bay tips?

Thank you Karen those were my thoughts exactly. NPB versus Santa Fe certainly doesn't feel like an equitable offer, particularly if you're forced to take the latter. You'd think they'd make a note of your preference too, and contact you rather than expecting you to phone periodically. Good...

    Newport Bay tips?

So we've just called up to pay the balance, and after reiterating that the DCR was closed, and what a great upgrade they could offer us via the Newport, they then informed us that there was no availability for our dates, end of November :sad2: We can call periodically if we want to check for...

    Newport Bay tips?

Thanks Tink, that's reassuring. We'll definitely be walking! Can you walk down both sides of the lake from hotel, and is that 4 cups of coffee per day or per stay!

    Newport Bay tips?

Hi, Just 3 nights this time. We're a large family, so the DCR was perfect, as we always drove, and you could make your own meals, etc. Otherwise, it's just a very nice, tranquil setting. The children are older now, so not so such much of an issue, and we've got half board with the offer +...

    Newport Bay tips?

Hi all, Long time no see! :wave2: We booked a short break for the end of November, pre-covid. So now have the Newport Bay on offer due to the Davy Crockett being closed. Isolation on return won't be ideal, so we're hoping things will change before then, but also hoping people can share some tips...

    La Grange - Restaurant review

In line with the more recent (albeit much older!) reviews above....we had the buffet meal here in December 2019. Hands down the best buffet we've had at DLP in 16 years (reminicent of the Davy Crocket Ranch and Lucky Nugget buffets of old). Tex Mex food, but enough variety to suit most peoples'...

    Pizza Planet

Its been closed for years now....will it ever open again?! It was basic, but the children loved it, and it included some lovely Toy Story theming! Here's a picture of my 4 when they were a lot younger.....spot the pizza burger!

‘Cars Route 66’ to replace Studio Tram Tour in 2020

I hope they keep the fire and flood scene though, as it's still a pretty epic experience!

    One day in November questions

Is it worth it to go to Studios with Crush and RnR closed? I think so! It depends what attractions interest you more though. Check the attraction board for waiting times when you arrive (It's in front of Tower of Terror). If busy....I'd probably grab a fast track ticket for Tower of Terror...

"Don't anger the dolls"-A France and DLP Trip, June '18-COMPLETED (4/22-ride comparisons)

Thank you so much for sharing! I've visited France and DLP countless times over the years, and you've highlighted some detail in the parks that I'd never noticed. We've only ever done the odd day in Paris (Musee d'Orsay is our favourite too!), via DLP, but we're definitely going to have to stay...
