Anyone Seen Nick Fury or Indiana Jones?

We were at the parks July 2 - July 5th and saw Indy while on the Jungle Cruise boat. He was on the 2nd floor of the queue (empty at the time) and interacting with people in line and on the boats.

Rogers the Musical coming to DCA this summer!! **Edit: Opens 6/30**

We saw the 4pm show on July 4th. Interestingly, they called the people that registered for the virtual queue in groups in order. We got into the virtual queue exactly at 2pm using our old Rise of the Resistance techniques (atomic clock, multiple people trying) and were one of the first groups...

Anyone hear of California resident tickets this year?

I did buy through Undercover Tourist. I'll have to math this out to see if it's worth it. Are the tickets transferrable? I did already make my reservations, so they're associated with my Disneyland account.

Anyone hear of California resident tickets this year?

Ugh, I just bought tickets a couple of weeks ago for a trip this summer at the regular price. Is it possible to swap out my tickets and return the full price ones?

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

We're going for July 4th for the first time ever! Has anyone used the grills at VGC lately? Are they working? Doesn't seem like July 4th unless there's a bbq!

    San Diego hidden gems?

I would add that there are several things in that top 10 list that are really worth visiting, including the zoo, the safari park (I like both and would recommend visiting both if you like animals), the Midway aircraft carrier museum, Torrey Pines state park, and Balboa park with it's many museums.

    San Diego hidden gems?

This may be a bit too late, but my suggestions: The Old Globe Theater if you like Shakespeare plays - very fun outdoor theater, operates during the summer and fall Potato chip rock hike/Mt. Woodson - great photo opportunity where the rock formation looks much thinner than it is. Liberty Station...

    Grand Cali- Hard to Get?

Much easier to get a 1 or dedicated 2BR - the studios go fast!

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

We've done non-park days that usually include brunch or a nice dinner and some cabana time or drive to the beach. Not necessarily spending time at the resort, but it's still very pleasant and relaxing. The high point usage is more about the location. There used to be other activities (not...

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

***?! I haven't looked at resale pretty much ever, as we've got a lot of family that are always ready to be "helpful" and use our points even when we don't go. I had no idea that VGC was selling that high! That's even with the original deed expiration? Or do recently sold points by Disney...

Has anyone had success booking dining? I mean......for the love of churros!

They are still taking reservations on the app. They must be fully booked for your dates and times. Keep checking looking for cancellations.

First time at DisneyLand Grand Californian or Disney Land hotel?

Sounds like the Grand Cal to me. Sometimes we stop in the lobby even on trips where we're not staying there. Great place to people watch, and you can get drinks from the bar. And it's definitely a much shorter walk.

    Grand Californian + Scooters

I recently took a trip with my in-laws in June staying at the Grand Cal. He had some hip pain that became problematic by the 3rd day. I called around and couldn't find an available scooter last minute and eventually called the front desk for suggestions. They told me that they do rent...

I'm crazy - we just booked a last minute CA trip (from NJ) - 1 day in Disneyland - I know nothing

So sorry to hear about your dad. Personally, I would focus more on DCA since it has more unique rides compared to WDW. If your kids are up for it, the single rider line is your friend. Especially for RSR. We did a 5 day trip back in June with park hoppers and didn't make it on RSR. The...

    Grand Californian

Right now as a COVID accommodation, they allow delivery from several of the downtown disney restaurants, including Earl of Sandwich, Uva, Catal, and Ralph Brennan's. They call you before they run it over and meet you at the guest services desk, which is not manned right now. We're DVC, so we...

Adding one to Disney Dining reservation?

I had this problem on my trip as my niece decided to add on at the last minute. You check in around 15 minutes ahead of time on the app with the number in your party, and I just added one person to the check in and explained when I got there. They were able to accommodate me for the 2...

    Post-Pandemic Disney Visa Perks?

I saw a sign yesterday for the character meet and greets for the Visa card. It was at the Star Wars Launch Bay, and the sign said it was from 2 - 6 pm.

    Any tips for california adventure?

No, you're thinking of Autopia in Disneyland. The Radiator Springs racer ride is more like a combo dark ride and fast ride - sort of like a dry Splash Mountain? Hard to describe, and if you like the movies, a must do.
