Same for me on 11/7. I had an early Mermaid (as a place holder to get in 3 FPs as soon as possible) yesterday that got bumped to 12:10. There appears to be nothing in the morning right now. If I can't improve it, I'll probably just tap at 12:10, or change parks.

I would get drinks from the Citrico’s bar and take them to the lobby to listen to the band and/or piano. That would work well with a group that size. The Citrico’s lounge area is very small. And without much atmosphere. The lobby atmosphere is pretty good.

There should be plenty of time to get to MK. HDDR show last about 2 hours. It’s a 5 minute walk to the boat launch. There could be a short wait for a boat. The boat trip itself is less than 15 minutes.
