    Waiting for MNSSHP 2024 Announcements

We went to EPCOT for a late lunch, then headed over to MK for the party. I wouldn't plan to 'do' a park the day of a party, but we are senior citizens!

    WDW scooter questions

I have a question that goes with this! In the scooter area, are other family members allowed to go into this area? My DH will be using a scooter for the first time, and it would just be me and our adult son. I think he's supposed to be keeping us safe! :)

How to spend a long day non park day with no resort

Take WDW transportation to Animal Kingdom Lodge to sit outside enjoying animals on the savannah. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride from Disney Springs to Port Orleans. Wander to the campgrounds and watch the horses.

What would you choose? IS AOA truly better than All Stars? Can you switch resorts last minute?

We switched from POP to All Star Sports and saved $1000 on the 2 rooms we have reserved for October. We spend very little time in the room, so the savings is well worth it to us.

If you had two days of no parks, what would you do?

One of our favorite 'off' day activities is just to take random transportation to resorts. Wait at a bus or boat stop and get on the next bus or boat to wherever. Explore there, have a bite or a drink, repeat. It's been so much fun.

We will need to use a scooter for the first time

So much helpful info! For the 30+ years we've been going to WDW, we have always said that we won't let mobility issues keep us from the magic. It is not an easy decision to make, but to fully enjoy ourselves, my DH will need assistance this time. Heart issues, mostly, but that keeps him from...

We will need to use a scooter for the first time

@ jo=jo That is good advice! No, he doesn't use an EVC at home, so practicing is a great idea. @ Selket I will be doing more homework! But, you are right! I forgot about the uphill part of Flight of Passage. @ Mamabunny LOL!! We'll probably plug it in during our afternoon nap as well...

We will need to use a scooter for the first time

My husband will be unable to walk the many miles a day at the parks, so we'll be renting a scooter. Here are my questions: * Is Scooterbug the only company that will leave the scooter and pick it up without us being there? * I don't think we need DAS because he can walk some, and can wait...

    Disney 100 - anything being planned ?

I read that Magic Kingdom will be the place to be on October 16th! That is the exact 100 year anniversary of The Disney Company.

    AOA without kids

We have also stayed at AoA without kids. Also Pop, and one of the All Stars, and we had a great time. But, I agree, the trek from Mermaid rooms to food, skyliner, busses, store, etc is FAR! We ended up driving closer in the morning because we knew the walk would be tough after an exhausting day...

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

My plans for today: do laundry, go get groceries, get some gardening done and perhaps do a little tidying up. My reality for today: hang out on the sofa waiting. Waiting. WAITING

    Disney World without the Parks?

We went to Disney Springs, then got on the first bus that came by. From that resort, we took a boat to another, and so went our day. We sometimes just sat in a rocker, wandered the resort, grabbed a snack. or just people-watched. That was before he SkyLiner! that would add a whole new set of...

Can I change ticket expiration date

Yes, I think I am going to have to call, again. Yesterday after 51 minutes on hold, they ended the call. Today, after an hour and 13 minutes, I had to hang up because I had plans. I'll try tomorrow morning at 7:00AM.

Can I change ticket expiration date

We purchased tickets last year, intending to visit WDW in October 2020. We are postponing to October 2021, and just now I realize the 6 day passes we bought last year actually expire in September 2021! Has anyone else been able to extend the expiration date? I have an email into Disney now. I...
