    Does anyone know what happened at Gringotts this morning (Nov 27)?

    My family and I were at Gringotts around 9:10 am. Just as we got to the team member that scans Express Pass, alarms started going off and everyone was evacuated from the building. The ride was down for three or four hours.

    We arrived at Universal today and went to guest services in IOA. The process was so easy - we had our pass in less than a minute. We were issued the gold pass.     I answered for my adult son. Talking on the phone is almost impossible for him on a good day - no way would he have been able to answer the questions coherently.

    Nothing that I can see. I was able to change accommodations on my son's card without any additional approval. Granted his doctor's note says "_____ has a disability that makes it difficult to wait in crowded lines and requires a separate area to wait" so maybe that covers sensory for them.

    I feel bad for the Universal employees who are undoubtedly dealing with many upset guests over this. The lady I talked to told me that they've been told that they have to follow exactly what is on the card and can't take anything else into account.

    Those options were not there when I applied. I chose the closest thing I could find to explain his issues. I have since gone back and checked all the sensory options.

    Yes, but like Sue said, standing in line with other people has a completely different connotation than standing in line at all. I don't know why the two things are considered the same.

    Thanks for the tip, but I asked what I need to do is no one calls before our trip. I got an email back stating that I just needed to take our card to guest services. I saved the email in case anyone tries to argue the point.

    I got my son's card the second day after this was announced. Waited over a week with no word from Universal, finally emailed them, got a reply asking for our trip dates and a good time to call which I answered. It's been almost a week since and nothing. Our trip is in 15 days.
