    Loungefly bags in Disney World

Not sure if you’re looking for a certain one, but as PP said, inventory changes quickly. Honestly I don’t think we’ve bought one on property yet, as the best selection/“pickings” is usually online. Hope that helps.

Run Disney 1/2 marathon feb question

IMO, you really don’t see any impact to crowds from the races. I’ve done most all of them once (except the January one) and that’s been my experience. Crowds are definitely driven more by holidays and school breaks.

    MK fun with 11-year old?

If you get lucky, you might catch a ride on the trolley with the Dans singing Christmas carols!! I think we did this right at rope drop. My daughter always insisted we stop and listen if the Dans passed us, so this was extra special for us!!

Must-Dos for an Adult's First Visit

I love the combo of Pirates and a dole whip float, while watching the spitting tikis and camel. Particularly like at dusk or dark. I think that really captures the immersive Disney detail vibe!! Then if he’s loving it….Tiki Room!!

    Volcano National Park

Aldo just wanted to say, if there is active lava, it’s still plenty cool in my opinion to watch red hot molten rock just squirting up out of the ground! I’m sure the glow would be cool too, but lava is pretty cool—well, HOT—however you see it! If you have time before your flight back from Hilo...

    Luau attire

Don’t worry….it won’t look any worse than the night we went straight from the park to California Grill and DH took his off 😂

    First timer-must do?

I personally recommend the opposite approach and planning early morning activities on those first days BEFORE you adjust, like getting to Diamond Head early before it gets so hot. Then schedule at least TWO days at home before returning to work, because the adjustment back is brutal for us.

Planning our first trip to Aulani early spring/Summer 2024

Guidelines that would help are things like how budget vs. splurge are you trying to go, how many days could you really stay gone (or pay for LOL), and what things you would be most interested in (volcanoes, beaches, surfing, snorkeling, waterfalls, museums, etc). I personally would recommend...

Is the Luau Preferred Seating worth the extra $$$ ???

Totally worth it IMO. But then again I like being able to see the sweat on the fire knife dancers….YMMV 😂😂😂

Aulani KaWa'a Luau vs Paradise Cove or others

I second Paradise Cove. Lots of negative reviews here but we really enjoyed it. We did a higher-end luau on Maui last year and while I felt that food was better, I felt the performances were of very similar (high) quality.

Considering Aulani- first trip- how many days?

Oh gosh…..can’t imagine why you’d say all of Maui is worth skipping. Sorry if you had a bad experience but there are sone AMAZING things to see on Maui as well.

Oahu Dining Recommendations other than Aulani

We didn’t do breakfast, but I did hit up a McD’s for a haupia pie! Also snapped a pic of the SPAM on the breakfast menu 😝

Oahu Dining Recommendations other than Aulani

Well then thank YOU for taking care of our livestock! We do black Angus and black commercial—although we have a few longhorns we bought from a neighbor and I love seeing how those calves come out!

Glad you had a great trip! Look forward to hearing more once your brain adjusts to the real world again LOL

Oahu Dining Recommendations other than Aulani

My DH eats ZERO seafood but he’s found plenty to eat on two trips now. So if they just want something else, they’ll probably have that option at most places. I don’t really have any recommendations as we ate very casual on Oahu. But I’m a big Kona beer fan and I was pleasantly surprised with...

    Typhoon lagoon locker alternative

I’ve never had Disney or any other hotel/water park complain about us using these. The cable is vinyl coated so it doesn’t harm the chair. As long as you’re not leaving it longer than the time you’re supposed to leave your things on a chair, I don’t see any issues.

    Rental Car Damage

Ditto PP. Thanks for sharing. It’s good for me to hear things like this so I don’t feel so lost if something similar happen. Glad you still got to have a great trip!

    Which Pearl Harbor Tour?

I’ll jump in here for a PSA. Don’t leave any valuables in your car there, and if you must, lock them in the trunk before you arrive. That’s a fairly hot spot for smash and grabs, and one DIS’er had it happen to her. But I’d definitely drive my own car if I had one; nothing difficult about it...
