First Stay at Home Resort - SSR

YEP I recently heard that as well, while watching one of Pete Werners disney dining shows.... It's been about 8 years since I've been, but didn't think it would fall off the boat...Anyhow, Pete mentioned that the Head chef from Flying Fish, will be leaving there, and heading up 3 DVC...

    New to Saratoga Springs

I personally love the Grandstand for Standard. So close to CH, and 1st bus on & off. which comes in handy. Also a close walk to catch the boats to DS. For Preferred, I see how most would say CP, but me personally, I like the Springs. It could be that we got 3 of the closest studios to the bus...

    Most Quiet and Most Loud

And to piggy back, as much as I do love the springs area, that would be the loudest IMHO.... Carousel definitely being the quietest...But the most boring section, If I can say that.... :confused3

    Most Quiet and Most Loud

In this order I would say in our stays, would be 3) SSR. Very relaxing 2) OKW Spread out & only a few other guest at each section 1) AKV I'd say by far. Such a tranquil experience when staying here.

Hotel suggestions with great pool area

(Drury Plaza)@ D.S. This one immediately came to mind.... Never stayed at this location, because this one basically just got finished very recently... but TBH, we just learned about the brand last summer, and actually had stays with them in Nashville, St. Louis, Louisville, & most recently San...

Is there something as “too much” Disney?

IN SHORT!!! Your title says it all. Yes it is too much......................................................................... For the people that just :scratchinDON'T GET IT!:rotfl: Don't feel ashamed or odd. It's quite natural to be obsessed with the Mouse. Isn't It?:jumping1:. TBH on these...

Beach club and where else? Two week stay.

Put me in the AKL/V category.... Not that the monorail resorts are not good, There's just so much more to do & see , @ AKL.. With that many days being down there, I'm sure you're gonna want resort days? There's no better way to unwind then spending it there. Either at Kidani or Jambo.. Both...

Anyone planning on being in AK on the actual 25th Anniversary?

Wow, I did not know that. Good intel there .TY Odd though that they wouldn't reconsider reopening or re theming it to help lighten the load on some of the other rides. FOP to be one.

Anyone planning on being in AK on the actual 25th Anniversary?

Sorry to get off topic here, but as I was going through these threads, it dawned on me to go through some past renditions of park maps & such.. Then I was thinking, Why couldn't they utilize that river that goes around Discovery Island, and make a ride out of it? Doesn't have to be elaborate or...

First Stay at Home Resort - SSR

We also are owners at SSR, but took us a while to actually stay here... It grows more & more on you when you end up staying there more times TBH. The only drawback we had was that the Turf Club was not opened. & I'm not sure if it is now, or if it will ever open again....It was a nice hidden gem...

    Yachtsman or Shula’s?

Lots of great tidbits of advice in here, Although I've never eaten at Shulas, ( Been to other restaurants @ the (SWOLPHIN), & only have eaten once at YS & it was a top notch experience TBH. From the food to the service & all... 1 other thing though, You did mention that you wanted to do EPCOT...

    Best Resort Dinner?

If indeed it is the day you are staying at the pool & are going to still be at AK, then I would also recommend Boma, as a PP stated.... It's like no ordinary Buffet, in fact a buffet is not even a good word for this place. Sanaa definitely is good, but if you're a particularly a picky...
