EPCOT Plans & Wait Time for Test Track During Early Entry

I think Test Track always posts a 20 minute wait within the first 5 minutes of Early Entry. On December 16, we did Test Track at Early Entry (sure enough, wait was posted as 20 minutes). I'm not sure what time we exited the ride, but we were entering the Soarin standby line at 9:15. So I...

Strategy Advice needed for 4 parks in 2 days over Memorial Day Weekend

I think it's a good plan. But I think it's over-optimistic to think that you might complete both Avatar rides by 9:00. Ditto for Tower of Terror and Mickey's Railway by 9:00. Especially on a holiday weekend. If it were me, I would figure that something like 9:20 is probably a more realistic...

    Poll: Which Animal Kingdom Show?

We think the new version (we saw it in 2022 and 2023) is the best of all the versions, much better than the "improved" version in 2017. We like it even better than the original version.

Can I RD both Remy and Frozen on a 9/10 crowd day

We rope dropped Remy from the International Gateway in October 2022 at early opening which was 8:00 am and we were off the ride by 8:30. Thrill-data shows that the wait time for Frozen that day at 8:35 was 35 minutes, but it had jumped to 60 minutes by 8:45.

On our December trip, we hopped from Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios. Animal Kingdom opened at 8:00, and Studios opened at 8:30. At 7:00, we booked Slinky LL at Studios. We weren't eligible for second LL until 10:30 (2 hours after the opening of the park where we had booked our first LL).

Feedback on Epcot early hours strategy

From our previous experiences, either Remy or Frozen will eat up your entire 30-minutes early entry. I would definitely recommend getting LL for one of them. As long as you aren't too far back in the rope drop crowd, I would recommend doing Remy for EE since, as you say, you will be there so...

    Non-thrill rides help

If you don't purchase Genie+, you will save the most time if you do the following during the 30-minute early entry: Animal Kingdom: Navi River Journey Epcot: Frozen Ever After Hollywood Studios: Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (or Toy Story Mania) Magic Kingdom: Peter Pan (but lots of...

AK strategy with RD and no Genie +

If you do Navi during early entry, then Safari when it opens at 8:00, the wait for Everest is not likely to be long if you go there after the Safari, which would obviously entail much less walking than doing Everest before the Safari. Today, for example, thrill-data.com shows Everest's wait to...

Good plan. Yes, VQ can eat up a lot of waiting time, so if you can afford the ILL$, I would recommend it since your time is limited.

Feathered Friends - still pre-school themed?

I thought this newest iteration of the show was the best of the 3 or 4 variations that we have seen over the years. Just the right balance between entertainment and education.

No wonder Genie+ has sold out today for AK (and DHS). Standby wait for Flight of Passage is currently 330 minutes. That's 5 1/2 hours. Yikes!

Be careful when you modify. On December 16, at Epcot we got a Frozen Ever After Lightning Lane for 1:30 with plans to hop to Magic Kingdom at 2:00. Playing around with the Modify feature, an 11:30 time for Frozen popped up, so we grabbed it only to see that it then confirmed us for a 7:30pm...

Yes, on very busy days, Slinky may be "sold out" by 9am. However, everyone (whether staying at a Disney resort or offsite) can book their first Genie+ Lightning Lane at 7am, so you should be able to book a LL for it.

Fantasmic fire effects changed? Maybe due to cold?

There was fire on the water for the show that we saw on December 17.

Good point. I forgot about the modify feature which will work since your reservation is for Epcot.

Need some quick planning help for tomorrow.

Looking at thrill-data.com for today, I see that Test Track return times for later than 7pm first occurred today at about 11am, and Soarin return times are still before 7pm right now. However, Remy hit 7pm return times about 9:30 this morning, so your best bet is to get Remy for your first LL...
