yep! They have buttons you can get- we got ours at the store inside the park to the right that was all jurassic park themed- they also write your name on the button, no one asked when our birthday actually was.

They usually don't film on the weekends. So, on the weekends you'll be more likely able to visit certain sets (Big Bang Theory, Ellen) but there is more going on during the week so you sometimes get to glimpse more people that way :)

Our favorite is the WB Studio tour- so much fun and we recommend going on a weekday!

It's the premium character dining voucher. We have always found it to be a better deal through Costco. We don't stay at the DL hotels though so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Honestly? I wouldn't book it. He likely won't want to go without his friends and it would be weird to be sitting at a table with people he doesn't know. I wouldn't do any planning for his trip and let him have fun and go at his pace.

We've done the tour SEVERAL times. It's definitely worth it. I say to pick a weekday only because more shows are filming then and you have an increased chance of seeing some stars;)

I always book packages minus flights through costco travel as I've found that to be the best deal.

We were there on Gay Days, and was surprised by the very long lines mid morning. Also surprised that there was not a "no bags" line. Even if you didn't have a bag, you had to wait in that line!
