Disney Visa Rewards - "Pay Yourself Back" option

Not sure I’m supposed to put the vendor name but initials are BWT. Here’s how the redemption showed up. The charge also came through as WDW TICKETS-ONLINE on my Disney VISA statement, not the vendor name.

Disney Visa Rewards - "Pay Yourself Back" option

I just did this with tickets bought through a "3rd party" vendor which is actually Disney (when the tickets came in the mail, they were from Disney Destinations). My tickets that I had purchased showed up as a viable charge on my Disney VISA for this. So I just applied my rewards to that charge...

    Allegiant flying to MCO again

This morning Allegiant announced three routes that will be flying to MCO, not SFB. Allentown, Knoxville and Asheville will have flights to MCO. Closer to WDW but much larger airport. I know many people prefer the smaller airports vs MCO which seems to always be a madhouse anymore.

Way too beige for me. They've taken the charm out of the villas. Yes, we all hated the couch and the murphy bed addition is great but I'm not impressed with these photos. Hopefully, it'll look better in person.

Coke codes finished - what to do with all these caps?

You might check with local schools or parks to see if they will take them. One of our elementary schools collects them (any plastic lids) and they are made into benches for the playgrounds, etc. It takes A LOT of plastic to build a bench but they've gotten several built just using plastic lids.

    $600 vs. $1300 unreal!

I feel your pain. We are heading down the first weekend in August for my uncle's celebration of life (he lived about an hour and a half north of WDW). Wanted to get my Disney fix since we'll have one extra day to spare. Guess I'll have get my fix at Disney Springs. I looked at ticket prices for...

Rent a Car or Drive Own Vehicle?

We are in the camp that rents when we drive. We don't like to put the extra miles on our vehicles. For fall break, we took a trip to Hilton Head Island, SC. We live close to Louisville, KY so it's a decent drive from here. Ended up that our neighborhood Enterprise didn't have a vehicle to rent...

We've not been to DHHIR since Oct. 2019 and we are looking forward to going back this month. Have they upgraded the TVs like the ones at WDW? Can you stream directly to the TV or will I need to pack a Fire Stick? Thanks!

    Vegan/Vegetarian Restaurant/Dining Help Thread

Sci Fi Dine In has a vegan cookies and creme milkshake. We tried it last week. Pretty good! My DH is lactose intolerant so it's hard to find a milkshake he can have. This one wasn't bad.

My husband is lactose intolerant so he did. The only "non-milk" I believe he could exchange for was Smarties. They loaded him up with Smarties but it was kind of disappointing.

    Transportation time back to MCo

We flew back on Monday morning 8/22. Had a 9:45 am flight and Sunshine Flyer arrived promptly just before our scheduled 6:15 am pickup time. We were the first on the bus and we stopped at I believe 4 other resorts. Made it to the airport in plenty of time. Security was lowest time I've...

    "Official" 2022 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Boo this!

Stayed at CCV and attended the 8/19 party. We had no wait at all for a boat back to WL. We walked up and got on the boat and left. Back to the resort by 12:30-ish. Maybe we were just lucky. :confused3

MK park passes unavailable on MNSSHP days

It's weird because it's not just the MNSSHP days that are already unavailable. It's already four days out of that first week as of this morning. It's still over three weeks away and MK is "at capacity." ??

Help me understand rope drop advantage

We weren't in the park at closing. We opted to hop to AK and close FoP instead. I know the closing time strategy as well. As finicky as RotR has been, we didn't want to chance it not being open at the end of the day.

Help me understand rope drop advantage

Depends on which ride you are trying to knock out. We rope dropped two mornings at DHS to ride RotR. We were there early but even by the time we got into the park for early entry and back to the ride, we waited over an hour. Had we not rope dropped, the wait would've been a lot more than an...
