    DLP hotels with disabled facilities

Anyone know if DLP hotel rooms cater for disabled, with wet room and hoist? My wife had a major stroke 9 months ago and has been in hospital for most of that time. Hoping she will be home in the next couple of months. We want to go back to DLP with the kids as soon as we are able, either...

Let me know if you find anything. I did search, but needles and haystacks were the order of the day. Thanks.

    Paris excursion from DLP

Anyone done it recently? Thinking of doing it for the first time as have never been in to Paris. Good for the kids as well. Would like to know other people’s experience of it. Lunch is not included so do they allocate time for lunch and you either find somewhere or take your own? Thanks for...

    Breakfast options and recommendations

So used to having a breakfast each morning when visiting DLP but since my last visit most of the main Disney hotels charge now. Any recommendations in the park or village? Otherwise maybe it’s better to bring our own food and cereals with us from the UK. What do most people do now? Thanks in...

    Sequoia Lodge question

Staying here for the first time next year. We are a party of six so will need 2 rooms. Does anyone know if they do have adjoining rooms in this hotel? Any recommendations on room selection or will we be limited if we want to have rooms next to each other? Also, just please generally sell this to...

    Comparisons

So I get on the next shuttle bus and into Disney California Adventrue by 13-00, determined to watch the Aladdin musical show, do the toy story...

    Comparisons

Well, it's funny how fate plays a hand in your life. I am currently in a hotel in Anaheim, staying for some business training this week. Who would have thought it? So, I came a few days early and have spent today and yesterday in Disneyland. So now I can make the comparison. So here goes...

    Laptop and WiFi question

Is there free WiFi in around the 2 parks and downtown Disney? Also, would I be able to carry a laptop in the parks in a laptop bag? Would it get past security? Hoping to be flying over from the UK and be in the parks for the first time ever for a couple of days next week. Thanks.

    Buying tickets at the park

I am flying in from the UK in October and have 1 (maybe 2 days spare) before I attend a training course that week. Can I turn up at the park and buy tickets. I have seen the prices on the Disney site but that is for buying on-line. There is no mention of where you buy tickets on the day. Do...

Flies on the food in Inventions...............

No problems when I was there last Tuesday evening. Food was great and saw about 6 or 7 characters. Kids loved it. Most expensive pint of lager at 8 Euros for 50 Cl (not technically a pint but near enough). I only had one, surprisingly.

Those of you who just got back...

Not there last week. I saw some merchandise in the shops but I don't get it to be honest. Not a Disney classic character and doesn't have any real appeal or anything interesting about it. Still, that's just my opinion.

    Woolly highs and lows

Will add more later but here are a few: - Highs Weather for the week was dry and later in the week very hot and sunny. The train from Ashford and check in of the bags was hassle free and very quick. The check in and passport checks coming back were brilliant. We got to the station 1 hour...

    Panoramagique

Is that what it's called? The balloon on the lake. Anyway, it was in full operation last week and I went on it. This was the highlight of the trip for me. Everytime I have been to DLP it ihas been shut or too windy. The views are fantastic and it cost me and my Daughter about 16 Euros (I think)...

Rapunzel Meet and Greet is back!

We went on Saturday and the queue was massive. They were there at 13-15 until 14-00, then they went off for a 15 minute break and came back again and I guess stayed there until about 15-00. My Wife and 2 Daughters queued in the hot sun for about 1 hour and 15 minutes before they got to see them...

    1.26 - Happy days!

So glad the exchange rate is like it is now. We are so lucky to be going in the next week with the rate as it is. Could get even better. Best for about 4 years I believe. Much better than the last time we went. We're all starting to get excited now and that pint in the DLH is that little bit...

    Characters at DLP....too stressful!

I don't do character meet and greets in the park. I wouldn't want to put my poor kids through it when we can go to a character meal in a much more relaxed atmosphere. I completely agree with what you are saying though. There is nothing difficult in setting up a queue and enforcing it. It is...
