DSprints to Disney Hotels by Bus

I would have to pay the price of ticket into MK correct? Or is there a way to pay for parking only and then take the monorail please? Sounds like another option too. Thank you.

DSprints to Disney Hotels by Bus

Thanks so much for your response. I was concerned because I know that during the holidays, all resort hotels put up a sign that there is no parking inside for non-resort guests. I wanted the bus plan B, instead of our car, because of that. Yes, we are resort-hopping. We will be there tomorrow...

DSprints to Disney Hotels by Bus

Please, I plan on parking at Disney Springs and having the bus take us to the Floridian. In addition, we want to go to the Wilderness Lodge too by bus, and then back to Disney Springs (order by which we go to them does not matter). Questions: Is there a bus that takes us from DS to the...

Gators at resorts...facts and wise tips

I think one of the 4-5 alligators caught will be the one that drowned/killed the boy. It would be interesting to see how big he was. If he was over the number of feet that Disney allows, then he would have to be one they never saw, I guess.

Gators at resorts...facts and wise tips

From the AP on WESH TV.com's website MIAMI —The frequency of serious, unprovoked alligator bites has grown in Florida along with the state's population - but fatal attacks remain rare. Some things to know about alligators from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission: ENDANGERED...

Man almost attacked by alligator in Seven Seas Lagoon

It's sad, but I guess a fact of life, that one can't walk that pathway without worrying that something like a lightning-fast alligator will come up and interrupt your vacation. How horrible.

Man almost attacked by alligator in Seven Seas Lagoon

I think the gators are never killed by the brain-eating amoebas because they don't seem to have much of one. According to Ron Magill (Zoo Miami), gators are not that smart.

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

I am a huge dog/animal lover, it is UNTHINKABLE that my dog would be dragged off by an alligator, now, (not even comparing this to a child, btw), this must just be horrific, horrific. This family having gone through that, having to get home somehow and get on with their lives for the sake of...

Short of any signs, maybe erecting an ornate fence; something the gators can't push through. You drive up and down I-75 (alligator alley), there are areas of the fences that APPEAR like something (or someone), pushed through.

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

I don't mean to be graphic, but to paraphrase what Ron Magill (from ZooMiami) said on ABC News this morning, the gator will flip you over to rip off a piece of meat. He was giving advice on what to do in such a panic moment, you try to strike the gator in the eyes and/or snout, so he'll let go...

And these folks, are from a very beautiful, far away place from Florida called Nebraska. They don't know from Alligators. :-0

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

Having grown up in Miami for a bit, I agree totally with you. A perimeter will have to be set up, of some kind. An alligator sign would take away the family environment perhaps, but it MIGHT, I say MIGHT have saved a life. I am sure this will never happen again ANYWHERE on ANY Disney property.

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

I am not an attorney, but I gather IF this gets before a judge the argument could be: "We were not swimming, there are no signs that warn of alligators"...just saying...Just praying for the grief that family must be going through. Praying for the little boy.

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

There have been SOME reports on the ORLANDO SENTINEL coverage that there IS a Lifeguard there. They might mean at the pool. If there is NO SWIMMING in the Lake, I don't see why there would be a lifeguard.

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

The NO SWIMMING should be a clue perhaps that the water is not for that, however, I believe that if there aren't at this time, they SHOULD have had signs up at least STATING that there MIGHT or COULD be alligators. Perhaps putting up a perimeter so that they can't get close to the edge would...

Child pulled into water by alligator near Grand Floridian

I wonder if there are signs by any of the Lakes/Lagoons warning of this?
