After hours Epcot DAS not work after midnight?

I’ve never had trouble with DAS working at after hours events like MNSSHP, but I also think it was before Covid that we were in a park past midnight. Similar to the previous poster, I would think the lines after midnight would be short enough that DAS wouldn’t really be necessary. We usually...

    Universal EVC

Ok good. I think I’ll be fine then. Mine turns on a dime, though when I have the basket on the back, it does make it swing wide, so I’ll leave it off that day.

    Universal EVC

We are going to CA and doing Disneyland and USH. I have an electric wheelchair and I’m familiar with getting around Disney with it. 99%of the time, it’s treated just like a manual wheelchair. Am I going to need a manual wheelchair for USH?

    DAS Pass - Encopresis

Along those same lines… our first post pandemic trip when lightening lanes were not being used by the general public, it was easy to see who was and wasn’t using DAS. It was far fewer than I expected but it could be because many people who use DAS were not comfortable with masking or being in...

ECV Question for Disabled Mother (Restaurants, Rides, etc.)

Except I wasn’t in a scooter. I was in an electric wheelchair which is normally treated differently. I can walk. And I can do stairs sometimes. That particular day, I was having a lot of pain and stairs were not working for me. When I’m asked at a ride, I do answer honestly, and avoid rides that...

ECV Question for Disabled Mother (Restaurants, Rides, etc.)

I use an electric wheelchair. Most of the time if it requires transferring, they have a chair available for you. And they are fairly wide. Definitely note on reservations if you are planning on needing wheelchair accommodations. I have a lot of trouble navigating Docking bay 7 and Pecos Bills in...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

I’ve been trying to read through but there is a lot to go through and this is our first time going to Universal. I applied for IBCCES and got temporary approval for my son last week. I had to resubmit a different photo yesterday, so still waiting on the final approval. We are going to Universal...

Spring Break and Food & Wine Fest

Have they put out a list of booths yet for Food and Wine festival? We are going the same week. We normally go to WDW and Epcot usually puts out a list of booths and menus way ahead of time, but I haven’t been able to find anything like that yet for DCA.

There are Blue Bayou reservations for next week!

I can’t believe I scored a reservation easily for our Spring Break trip in March!

    For Disneyland wheelchair users...

We go to WDW about once a year and I can’t tell you how many times cast members have cancelled my sons DAS return time when setting up a wheelchair return time despite that they are 2 separate things. Most of the time, they graciously fix it. But it is super frustrating that it happens at least...

    For Disneyland wheelchair users...

Do you know where there might be a list of those? I’m very familiar with WDW but this will be my first time in Disneyland with my electric wheelchair. Ive been trying to look for accessibility on all the rides and I’m seeing a lot of mist transfer , which is not a problem, or must transfer from...

2-Day Park Hoppers vs 3 Day Non-Park Hoppers

Keep in mind that some duplicate rides are not identical. Pirates is much longer, Small World has characters in their countries, ect. We are WDW veterans and we usually do 3 days in Disneyland sometimes with park hoppers, sometimes not. Even though the parks are physically smaller, they do have...

Change in pricing for people over 9 ordering from kids menus

I started this thread to let people know because as it’s been mentioned on here many times, in the past they were not doing this, and all the travel blog tell you that you can do it. And I asked if my son could eat off the kids menu before ordering and wasn’t told of the new pricing strategy...

Change in pricing for people over 9 ordering from kids menus

Wow! So 10 year olds should be forced to eat adult portions and selections? I have some pretty picky kids. I’d be paying more for them to pick at or not eat their food. I pay those prices at the buffets, and prix fixe meals. But I also don’t choose to do many of those. My son has autism btw. So...

Change in pricing for people over 9 ordering from kids menus

So for the kids steak, 2 sides, no drink because we drank water, $17!

Change in pricing for people over 9 ordering from kids menus

We are at Skippers Canteen and just ordered the child portion steak for my 15 year old. I was told they’ve made a change to pricing and that for anyone over 9 ordering from the kids menu, they will charge you separately for each item of the meal, entree, sides, drink ect. I’m really disappointed...

Inflation and deciding on a vacation!

We are getting ready to go down Thursday. 4 people, 7 days, with 1 party, 5 TS meals. Our cost is going to be about $6000 staying at POP. However, at one point this trip was going to include 10 people for another the same price, staying offsite, hopper tickets through Sam’s, and only 1-2 TS...

    ***Official September 2022 Thread***

I think we have packed everything that doesn’t have to wait until “day of”. I leave for my work conference Monday morning. We leave for Disney Thursday afternoon! Oh and my Magic band + arrived yesterday!!

    Scooter in the rain tips

I do what the previous poster suggested and get an extra large poncho that I can drape over the front and back while I’m wearing it. There are days it rains all day, but my experience is that most afternoons it rains for about 15-20 minutes and that’s it.

Is there anything really, really special about the food in WDW?

WDW definitely offers a lot more in terms of good options. And some of the signature restaurants are really good, but you’ll spend a fortune on them. The biggest difference in my option between food at Disneyland and WDW is that, you can leave Disneyland and eat outside of the park fairly easily...
